    Brumbies vs Waratahs - Round 2, 2016

His pants came down after making the tackle and whilst trying to get out of the ruck. For pants to come down there generally has to be some sort of pulling action. I wonder if anyone was trying to keep him in the ruck? Would be an interesting replay.

    Waratahs v Reds Rnd 1 2016

Absolutely. Holmes doesn't offer much around the park, and I think Ta'avao beats him in that regard. Not too many Super Rugby games are decided by scrums.

    Pre-Season - Rebels v Samoa

Reece Hodge has certainly been an interesting one to watch over the last few years. I say this because I had a friend who played Aus schoolboys with him in 2012, and after such an experience said friend was adamant that Reece Hodge was nothing special. I had a different friend who played...

    Pre-season Trial: Highlanders v Waratahs - Friday 19 February 2016

I agree. From experience, a four week shoulder injury is not the worlds biggest concern. The case often is that: a) You're out for a few months and might need surgery. These often linger and the chance of reinjuring them is very high. b) Its a slight knock and after a few weeks it'll be fine...

    Waratahs 2016

Although I hated the original images of it, I really really like that jersey.

    Waratahs 2016

I don't mind it - I thought he was good at the Rebels and under-utilised. If he had better players around him he would have shone more as well. He's signed with Norths in the SS which further hints of his move to the Tahs. A few weeks ago I thought our squad was poor, but now I'm rather...

    Waratahs 2016

Whilst I don't think he's Super XV ready, every game I've seen him play at SS level he's been pretty dominant. He was also awarded player of the year 2015. Whether or not you think he deserved it, he's certainly one of the better SS players going around.

    Ideas for Australian Rugby Union

I've heard its very close to being announced. I've also heard that its very good news.

    Waratahs 2016

To draw us all away from the banal jersey chat, I overhead a fellow at work last week saying that Kurtley Beale had just bought a house in his street, and that all the kids that live there are very excited about it. I'm more excited about the fact that this seems to suggest that he'll be with...

    2015 NRC Barbarians Watch

We'll get there. The ITM is a institution in NZ - the players who play ITM have been playing it for years. They've come up against Super XV players regularly and are much better for it. Our competition is still in its infancy stages. Of course, 10 years down the track, the ITM team will still...

    Reds 2016

I honestly think going to Toulon will be a great career move for Quade, and JOC (James O'Connor) too. In Australia, as JOC (James O'Connor) pointed out this season, they are subject to constant scrutiny and they often have huge expectations placed upon them. When you couple this with the fact that these players have been...

    Reds 2016

If you guys get another 38 injuries this season (or however many it was last year), then surely RG has got to go. If he utters 'I couldn't execute my game plan because I didn't have the cattle' again, I'll fly up to Queensland to personally kick him in the nuts. I thought it was bad enough...

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Anyone know how the latest on the situation of Giteau, Sio and Folau? Also, I can't wait until we have a scrum 5m out, Darkness feed. The 8 men in Gold upfront place an immense amount of pressure on the ABs, Kieran has to take it from the base. Hooper 'Schalk Burgers' him into his own goal...

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

Few things I took from the game: - The uncalled not-straight calls everyones complaining about: I saw a few crooked throws, but I also didn't see Australia contest a lot of them. If we don't lift a jumper, its not a penalty. If it doesn't haven't a material effect on the game, its play on. -...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Wales looking to hold the player up and form a maul wherever possible. Only problem is that they're not releasing the player once he goes to ground. Very poor discipline. If Foley continues to be his icy self it may end up costing them.

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Israel looking very apprehensive. I hope he hasn't declared himself fit when he's not. No one wins from that.
