    Rebels 2020

Guess they were in AUS and either a) Rebels happy to pay the insurance for their Japanese teams (stohlberg still under contract) OR/and b) Rebels are benefitting frmo their rleationship with Japanese teams. Masi (probably) left meaning Rebels could get Maafu and Stohlberg in for Jones.

2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

Holy shit - was that THAT long ago...URHH getting old.

2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

Just a guess but even if I'm wrong - Amosa and Hoopert are the more mobile options - able to keep the game up tempo. Mafi and Smith will come on and make the scrum even stronger! Expect to see a few 2nd half scrum penalties against the Tahs. ' (Hunt was also an injury exclusion btw)

2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

CFS in the last 20 might be a different beast. Also I can see using Paisami hitting it there with Hegarty coming round the outside linking with the wings.

2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

Tualima has apparently gained sgnificant mass (as he was instructed to do so) his previous frame at 193cm and 99kg is just too slight for a no.6 let alone a lock. He's put on the beef so let's see! So keen for Harris v Wilson TBH I think the 6 backrow options for WC will be 6-...

2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

Is that THE side or YOUR side?

    Reds 2021

He'd be a good pick up. He's been in Japan since April 2016. In April 2021 (end of his current contract), he'll be 29 and have done 5 years in Japan. At 204cm and 120kg, I can see him playing a key role for Japan at 2023 WC.

    Waratahs 2021

I think he is a classic 'smart' player. No bells and whistles, but strong fundamentals and yes this was at 13. With Hunt injured I would keep Newsome at 13 and have Moeroa at 12 and make sure at least 1 wing was picked on the ability to defend first, attack 2nd.

    Rebels 2020

Lol - Professional teams billeting. Good one. No way. I'm sure there are some RUPA clauses saying they need X & Y quality of accom and support facilities when travelling. It's been said the bill for them being based away is $1mil. But no - no idea if RA is footing the bill or the Rebels. RA...

2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

Think you're about right. I also agree and I'm sure many others would that we want to see Tafa and Harris get their shot - but tbh Swinton, Dempsey, Hanigan, Holloway - they are still quite young and not doing TERRIBLY. 1 or 2 these guys needs to move team. TBH I'd start Ramm over...

    Reds 2020

Just on the no. of spectators. I know people working in league admin and its been tough for them to get actually get people to go! It's not ASY (Angus Scott-Young) easy as saying there are 10k seats. Chances are Broncos gave tickets to those members who pledged their memberships + corporate and sponsors. For the...

    Reds 2020

I've rewritten this response a couple times because the more I think about it, the more I think it is you are on the right track. We probably would shift ASY (Angus Scott-Young) to lock BEFORE bringing on Smith/Tualima or Wood. They will get their time, but I can see ASY (Angus Scott-Young) moving to lock and Mcreight to flank early...

    Waratahs 2021

I'd consider Hunt to 13 - good vision, good defence, good communication, able to guide Moeroa. Newsome could shift to wing with Nawaqa and Maddocks to FB. OR Moeroa to 13 though I hear he is spectacularly slow at changing direction.

    Reds 2020

SO predictions for first team for this Friday? Any injuries still an issue? know of? Petaia? Wood? Fotuaika? Paisami? Assuming 100% fitness then this is me, but it's actually Petaias return that throws a spanner in the works. Does he move to wing or does Paisami move to 12 or the bench? I...

    Wallabies 2020

Simmons to get a recall - If not to start, then definitely 1 of the 4 spots for locks in the squad Blyth, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Simmons then either Swain or Neville. Rodda to come back sooner then expected (wouldnt be surpirsed if he signs a deal whilst still overseas, making him eligible for wallabies in...

    Rebels 2021

5? We were still struggling with 4. Even if the rebels do go, they can't let the force back in unless they do some seriousssss recruiting from overseas. Hiring lance and holmes will not transform a team. With the reality of people leaving - 3 is realistic to improve our competitiveness and...

    Rebels 2021

I just don't see how Australia can field 4 competitive teams at this rate - squad depths have been savaged, quality is alreayd spread thin, clubbies have been promoted and either moved on or come up short, a HUGE amount of teenagers are receiving full time pro contracts..... There are not...

    Reds 2020

I don't think eating disorders and crying in restaurants when they don't have healthy options is 'being his best'. Pocock had a very unique and challenging youth which came with it's own problems. Yes he's doing great now, but so is JOC (James O'Connor). They both had paths which should be seen as extreme...
