Rebels vs Waratahs, North Hobart Oval, February 2013

I think they entered into an agreement and the proceeds went to community projects. I don't havea great problem with it but fully understand what your saying.

Rebels vs Waratahs, North Hobart Oval, February 2013

Nothing wrong with the Tahs helping out to promote rugby in poor areas and continuing to do so. ;) This is a good thing, great work by the rebels.

    Waratahs 2013

Was just a poker play, chieka pulled out of the force job to get this job, Tahs problem was they played their hand early allowing chieka to sit back and make them sweat. More money, longer contract, Cheika won the negotiations by a mile. Hopefully he is as good at coaching as negotiating.

    Waratahs 2013

Nice that foxsports as broadcasters of superugby couldn't bring the press conference at all yet can cross to afl at the drop of a hat despite it having its own channel.

    Waratahs 2013

    Chieka confirmed.

    Waratahs 2013

Chieka has to win 5 games before any lap sitting takes place. It's a KPI.

    Waratahs 2013

If rocky can get fit I hope he comes back. The way he left the game in Australia was unfitting of the player he was and can be. Deserves a good season or two and a bit of luck.

    Waratahs 2013

cool, another thread of wallaby selection bashing by fans of teams who constantly lament the achievements of others while not exploring the ongoing dissapointment of personal development within there own squads. how about we talk about the tahs of 2013 for a while?

    Waratahs 2013

Good point, he could sit on mine but then then does that make me CEO?

    Waratahs 2013

No, the bigger problem is the term "interim" becoming "permanent" and we're stuck with Gaffney. Don't get me wrong, he is a lovely guy and good for a chat, I just worry that his grandpa like charm can translate into forward thinking.

    Waratahs 2013

The fact Cheika was offered the job a month ago would indicate he is playing silly buggers in the hope of gaining more pull in the final outcome. At this point, let's just hope someone signs and not care who.

    Waratahs 2013

So reading through the 2012 thread and most of this one are the 2013 Tahs going to be judged from a team that; *finished 11th *had the worst s&c in the comp *only won 3 games *new coaching and management structure *in a rebuilding phase *focusing on local talent and development Or is everyone...

2012 Rugby Championship Round 3 Game 1 Australia vs South Africa - 8 Sep

If JOC (James O'Connor) and Quade are 10/12 and front line defense, mortgage your house and put it on the argies.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 3 Game 1 Australia vs South Africa - 8 Sep

Seriously, the wales wins were good, people want to discount them now but tight wins in a series that before hand people expected you to lose are building blocks in the right direction.

    Waratahs 2013

I think Ulugia has done pretty well, he is never going to be first choice but he hasn't really let the side down at all. Carter is a first choice superugby player and used right as seen in the past can both defend with the best of anyone, breach the advantage line with the best of anyone and...

The TV Broadcasting of Australian Rugby

Nine wanted the world cup and lions tour, foxtel on sold rugby as a package not as individual tours/cups so 9 just bought it all.

    $1 million Rugby Revolution

It makes a lot of sense to do it in one place. Television wise etc, to only have one set up place reduces costs and au provide something at least viable for the short term. Whatever happens, we need to shore up NSW & QLD before we look anywhere else. With the increase in league funding and AFl...
