    Round 1 - Brumbies v Rebels - Fri 15th@7:45pm

Good game to kick off the season. Brumbies early domination in the scrum fell away, then the line out failed which cost them dearly. Loss of Pocock didn’t help, but Samu stepped up. Rebels halves got the upper hand and they got the biscuits. I think the conference race will be very close because...

    Round 1 - Brumbies v Rebels - Fri 15th@7:45pm

Yeah. It was good to see Quaid back. Did some good things in attack but needs to lift in defence if he wants to get back into the Wallabies (Unless Marto is sole selector, if that was the case then he’ll be Captain/coach)

    Round 1 - Waratahs vs Hurricanes @ Brookvale - Saturday 16 February 2019

Reports in the press is that Beale is being rested. Strange call when you consider that we have Sunwolves next week and then a bye..Talakai is a beast at scrum time but lacks a bit in open play. O’connor Is the opposite but I hope they step up. Good luck boys

    Round 1 - Waratahs vs Hurricanes @ Brookvale - Saturday 16 February 2019

I hope he goes well too. A good fit on the bench, Hanigan could also move to lock and leave Lachlan at 6 which imho is his best spot, but he can play lock at a pinch

    My bad:)

Simon ‘s career is coming along nicely. A long way from an AB candidate at this point but who knows. I wonder what your opinion would be if he was involved with the Brumbies set up rather than the Waratahs?

    Waratahs 2019

3 of our kids were Australian under 20s front row 2 years ago. It’s their time to step up to the next level while having Robertson and Kepu to mentor them. How old were Sio, AAAA, Robertson, Thor, Slipper and Kepu when they made their Super Rugby debut?. It would have been nice to secure Slipper, but...

    Waratahs 2019

Early reports are that Vui is out for 1 week. Even if it’s more serious then we have Sunwolves in round 2 then a bye. The players mentioned are (apart from the fact that they are predominantly LHPs) had signed elsewhere so it’s really a moot point

He was really owned in NRC at scrum time. Scoring tries in a trial doesn’t equate to much as a prop. He’s only young so I’m not writing him off, but he was an odd pick when a lot of people rated Faagase

    Reds 2019

Totally agree, but in professional sport people are going to come and go. You work with what you’ve got this year and worry about what happens next year next year

    Reds 2019

I guess the moral to the story is that you better stay on his good side. His coaching credentials have yet to be measured, but he’s a World class Hater

Yep, you threw up some good options. Lloyd from Force also an option. I thought Fotuaika looked a good pick up for Reds

    Waratahs 2019

How old were Roboi, Aaaaa or Sio or Thor when they got their starts. Vui is back in one game. I just reckon it’s a panic call before it’s time for panic. If Faagase is so great why did the Reds let him go and sign a 20 year old Hoopert?

    Waratahs 2019

There’s two ways to go, sign a journeyman or rely on the young blokes. Vui, Cody Walker and HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) were all Oz under 20s props two years ago. Can you suggest who the journeyman who is superior and should have been signed is?

    Waratahs 2019

None spring to mind.Kepu back in this week, Vui out for only 1 week (he was never going to be a starter). Plenty of young props already signed , they’ll have to take this as an opportunity. The Brumbies are the only Australian franchise with depth in this position

Lucas was a breath of fresh air. Scrum very good with the starting pack. Overall pretty positive

If anyone is interested in good vision of Highlanders trial and has you tube on TV it’s on under “Highlanders v Waratahs 2019 PRE SEASON FULL GAME “ Unfortunately I couldn’t find the link on my phone

    Waratahs 2019

With the return of Latu, Fitzpatrick Kepu, Simmons and Hooper the scrum (and line outs) will be vastly improved. Yes they will be rested at some point but all teams will have that dilemma. I wasn’t impressed with Roets for the short time he was on, he didn’t look fit to me. It was very much out...
