Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

Those scum who block lines get sorted out at international level

I guess what we're all agreeing is that it should have been Dan Carter who got penalised for using McCaw as an obstruction. Anyway, haven't seen this many Kiwis at full indignant whinge for a while - which is nice. Just waiting for someone to say Skelton "will get his beans". Separate note -...

Guys - let's wind in the accusations about 12 year olds. It's not a good look.

Having read this thread I now have body image issues. Thanks TOCC

To FPs point - anyone else notice how McCaw and Whitelock stayed down as if they'd taken a bullet to the cerebral cortex, and then were fine? Re Kearns - for all his faults he doesn't death ride other Aussie teams

agree - I'd have him ahead of Horwill easily for example

Tough one. He's been killing it as a mobile lock for the Tahs - better than he did as a 6 or 8. However, I'm not convinced that means it transfers to international level, especially not in the back row.

"We'll have to take matters into our own hands".... I think the point was that they couldn't if they'd tried

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

Contrary to Louie's brain fart about the game, the nature of that win is one of the few glimmers of hope I've seen for the Wallabies this year. The mongrel we saw tonight - beating up a good Kiwi pack - plus the Reds scrummaging, plus the Brumbies efficiency in the pack is just about enough to...

As Nathan Sharpe said once - the only way to beat the ABs is to belt the bastards. Same with the Crusaders and that's exactly what the Tahs did. They pushed it to the edge, and it worked. Skelton almost single handedly bullied their pack, Naiya their backs (sometimes even using his arms). How...

Trolling and flame warring will get bans. Note the warning Louie and Scaraby

The head explosion fuse clearly a slow burner this week

Along with Cyclo, for me it's Beale. Foley's bit is to straighten the attack and keep the inside defence honest. Last night and last season he did it brilliantly. Beale's role is then to unlock the wider spaces and exploit the midfield. Worked for the most part last year, but this year he's...

    Stormers vs Brumbies @ Newlands

Something like penalties 30-5 would have made more sense to you?

    Stormers vs Brumbies @ Newlands

The 20-5 penalty count was as pathetic as Vermuelen and co's sad need to have the last shove at every breakdown. The brumbies had obviously decided not to take it and despite Berry having one arm they were a missed kick in front of the poles from beating the top Saffa side at home - clearly...

    Stormers vs Brumbies @ Newlands

That was a good ol fashioned home town ref, although to be honest with the scrum that munted the count was going to be high.

Force v Waratahs, round 13, Saturday 9 May

+1 for all of that Gnostic random thoughts The driving/rolling maul is now a joke that will bite us in the ass. We'll get to the RWC and lo and behold, refs will remember how to ref it and only teams who could always do it well will be able to use it (not us) It doesn't matter if you're...
