Super Rugby AU Grand Final - Reds v Brumbies - Saturday 8th May 2021

Hmmmmm well well maybe there has been a niggle at the captains run. Guess we will find out!

Super Rugby AU Grand Final - Reds v Brumbies - Saturday 8th May 2021

Pretty standard for basically an extra 'bench' to warm up.

I feel as though there should be 3 props in that photo

    Wallabies 2021

I think having Skelton and Valetini both starting is exactly what we need. Always need one 'enforcer' in the backrow and one in the 2nd row. Slipper - Tupou (Whose running game is a bonus) Rodda - Skelton (Who is doing plenty in NH) Wilson - Valetini (who can jump) Throw in the huge work rate...

    Wallabies 2021

If they made Arnold an offer (which would be good ) but he turned it down, and one of our highest paid players DHP is NOT resigned, then they should have the cash to at least be competitive for 1 more star. (Butttttt Arnold did turn it down soooo.)

    Waratahs 2022

Rodda has no topup though which is considerable. RA didnt like him leaving so he'll be hoping for an upgrade for the 2023 season. But yes - even though we have players on more then the 750k we offered Skelton last time, the next round of contracts are reducing in value so yep...more problems.

    Waratahs 2022

They went hard at Arnold for a mid 2022 return (maybe back end of Super Rugby) but looks like he will continue with Toulouse. If Rennie REALLY wants him then he can pick him anyway and I'm sure Arnold knows this. He's on massive money and only has a couple contracts left in him. He may well do a 1 year...

Super Rugby AU Grand Final - Reds v Brumbies - Saturday 8th May 2021

Well I guess we should be happy we have that many people at least worth talking about. Seems other teams have more players who are worthy of 0 mention and noone will ever know their name and the reason they have a contract is because so many of our players have had to leave $$.

    Reds 2021

Reserve forwards were highly ineffectual. Starting pack lacked balance (go forward) Need Uru starting and Blyth in the 23 or Valetini & Neville will bully us.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Got my grammar wrong - not world renown like Radradra IS. He is the best no.13 in the world lol

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Pasifika will be on the same Salary scales as other NZ super teams, so wouldn't be surprised to see, like the Drua, some established professionals moving back, either alreayd capped for their countries but not 'world renown' like Radradra, or older fellas capped elsewhere but looking to be a...

    Rebels 2022

If highly paid players like Naisarani, Koroibete and DHP don't continue on 2022, do we have an exciting wish list? I don't think Melbourne can depend on promoting local talent or even enticing players away to offer more game time to overcome THAT sort of player ability deficit. I'd think...

    Waratahs 2022

I'm not satisfied, but Whetton and Caird are already on the books - Hanigan has just been picked up and Williams and Douglas are next cabs to get developed. Not really much space for another starter level lock who is a BIG boppa. Is Kepu actually retired from Rugby or just Test matches? He...

    Waratahs 2022

Where would you suggest? Recently on this page people have been satisfied with the locking options, the backrow options, the wing options. That leaves Centre and THP - neither of which anyone of note in australia is really available for.

    Waratahs 2022

Swain, Neville, Kerevi, Droasese & Kata not available in 2022 unfortunately. There is really stuff all available for 2022 in the physical profiles required. Definitely need to be looking offshore/Marquees Brining back a Kerevi in 2023 would be on the RA/Tahs radar

    Waratahs 2022

Frost would be good and a Sydney Boy . With Whetton and Caird already locked in, keeping Douglas and Williams will be important. Quite undersized if partnered with Hanigan so I'm worried about more of the same. Lots of pressure for physically on the backrow of Swinton/Vosacoya/Hoops Shame...

    Waratahs 2022

Adam Coleman. However he was on BIG money at London Irish - one of the highest lock salaries in the premiership, and not regarded as well here as Arnold, Rodda and Skelton so I'm sure he won't bother with the huge pay cut and a 'maybe' spot for the WC. Also locally: Steve Cummins Trevor...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Is there Fijian Drua team thread yet? I would love some complete fantasy- based on nothing - speculation about who may end up in the team!

    Rebels 2021

Orr and Wilkins will probably be the ones dropped off the extended bench. Players only get released when they know they will have absolutely no involvement on game day. There will be several players, in addition to Orr and Wilkins who will be heavily involved in the game day processes, both...

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

For a huge unit on the 'wrong' side of 30, Timani has been showing a massive workrate - but for this game we need to see him bring in that physical/bully mentality. He really needs to make Sinclair and Douglas feel out of their depth (and weight class) against 2 x International Locks.
