Round 2 - Force vs Reds, NIB Stadium, 2nd March @ 6:30pm (AWST)

Isn't Matwijow out for the season? Who do you have as your three second rowers for the game then? RHP, Phillip, and ? Arnold? You guys need another lock ASAP. Its a shame clubs don't lend each other players. Neville and Lukhan Tui deserve some game time. As does Hanigan and a few...

I missed the game - any intel on Colemans injury? The Force and the Wallabies need him.

    Round 2: Hurricanes V Rebels, Venue TBC, March 4 @ 3:15 AEST

Maddocks was one of your best last game! Not happy with that - he offers way more than Debreczeni. What does Volavola offer? A cover for 10 and 15? Maddocks covers 15. He's a bigger body and a better strike runner. Hodge, Debreczeni and Garden-Bachop cover 10 and 15.

    When are they all back?

Nah we're fine with Skelton, Mumm, Hanigan, McCauley, Tolofea and Swinton. Send him down south or out West. Skelton, Mafi, Tui pack at the Rebels? Gives BangBros a whole new meaning.

Round 2 - Force vs Reds, NIB Stadium, 2nd March @ 6:30pm (AWST)

I think theres absolutely no harm in rotating players - especially early in the season. Builds depth and lets everyone know their spot is up for grabs until the very point they make it impossible for the coach to not pick them. Give Tui a start and bring Smith off the bench. Likewise with...

    Questions for James O'Connor

He would have been doing coke for years haha. They're all on it (anecdotal BS). As a point of reference: http://www.betootaadvocate.com/headlines/nation-unsure-if-they-really-care-that-oconnor-got-pinched-with-a-bag-of-rack-in-paris/ Has got over 3,600 likes on Facebook and 462 comments...

Personally a Thursday night game works best for me to attend live. To watch it as well. Nothing quite like a game of rugby to get you excited for the weekend.

Round 2 - Force vs Reds, NIB Stadium, 2nd March @ 6:30pm (AWST)

Funnily enough I found myself cheering for the Force over the Tahs on the weekend. Why? I've always liked an underdog I suppose, but I have faith that even if the Tahs lose their first two, I'm sure they can go on to win more than they lose and be in a good spot come the end of the season...

Stop hogging all the locks. You've got: Simmons, Douglas, Neville, Rodda and Tui. The Rebels have got Jimmy from Melbourne Grammar's under 14 Bs AFL and the Wallabies number eight there. Very jealous at your depth in that position.

    Back to the future.

Huge fan of this but apparently a PI team simply wouldn't work due to culture clashes. I'd go with either including the Sunwolves in the Australian conference or a strict Fiji team a la the NRC. Personally I'd be far more interested in this relative to the current format of Super Rugby...

2017 TV ratings and crowd figures

How do they calculate this? E.g. how is a pub viewed? Where its a single signal but dozens of people watching it? I watched at the pub on Satdee night but will putting both TVs on the channel and whipping out my laptop with Foxtel Go boost the numbers in anyway? (albeit marginally)

    Back to the future.

I know everyone's talking about cutting a team, but for me, the most desirable outcome would be a trans-Tasman competition. The Saffer games are annoying in terms of time slots and I literally know about one in every eight players they field. They play boring rugby and the more we play NZ the...

    Refereeing decisions

I absolutely adore that game plan but the Poms are absolutely up in arms about it. It's in the bloody rules! Not only that, if they'd seen enough Rugby they'd have known about it earlier. Pocock used it last EOYT and the Chiefs (I believe) utilised it for an opening game a few seasons back...

    Rebels 2017

Pick up Swinton (NSW u20). Lee says he's a notta but hes a big lump of a lad and capable of playing 2nd row in Super Rugby (notta's are all the rage anyway these days at Super level). He played against the Brumbies, in the 10s and I believe against the Highlanders for the Tahs in the trials...

    Questions for James O'Connor

Alright I'll give you 10 minutes on Google Scholar but I'm hanging up the boots after this. I've made my perspective clear. Disclaimer: the following is sourced and is not vintage Micheal anecdotal BS. They all come from peer reviewed academic sources. + Sports Medicine - "Drugs and Sport"...

    Questions for James O'Connor

There's a real difference between smoking and "smoking", e.g. having the odd cigarette when out and drinking. I doubt many players have a day-to-day smoking habit but loads of them smoke when out on the drink. I'm Sydney based so I can't comment on many non-Waratah's players and its rarely...

    Questions for James O'Connor

I disagree an argument could be made that James' injuries have a correlation on how much powder he consumes. Hypothetically perhaps (which I think is what you're getting at) but we have no data so in this case, no it can't. I'm just being a pedantic prick on this one haha. I think overall you...

    Questions for James O'Connor

But thats what I'm really getting at, why is it banned? Doing a line or a cap or a pill or a bong before a game won't help in anyway. Sooner or later we'll have to ask that question and address it. Its definitely not performance enhancing, so what is it? At the very core of it its...
