The way I heard it, he didn't want to pay Penney the money that he wanted. He was over ruled by the board so thought he'd lost support. Call it untenable or a blow up but it isn't a good sign for a CEO moving forward

    Brumbies 2020

A lot of backs play both codes and keep their options open. Wright played NSW schools at fullback via St Joseph's but had already signed with Manly. Rumour was that's why he didn't get picked for Schoolboys. Pigs are a different matter and are less likely to switch between codes

Perhaps confused him with former Raiders and QLD origin player Adam Mogg?

I thought the problem is that we need big and fiery locks and 8s

The South African was garbage, but gosh he was big!. Picked on size to fit your big forward mentality and couldn't make Manly team. Name the players we missed out on or who were available.

Then how do you justify the Tahs getting that huge South African last year who turned out to be a dud? Or McCauly who is a big unit but hasn't managed to crack it yet? I think he had to play to a light and mobile game plan because that's what he had. We got Simmons from the Reds, but are there...

Well done Georgia. Jeez they've been brave

Heights and particularly weights listed can be taken with a grain of salt. They get measured when they start and are rarely updated. At 19-20 they have some growing left in them, particularly in the weight department in a professional program. I've met him and he's a huge unit

    Waratahs 2020

Yes, he's a goodun but I suppose that we have some experienced 6s (Dempsey, Swinton & Hanigan) but thought he would be a very good 8 option in the future. Like the Reds we have a plethora of back row options so might have been offered more at the Rebels. Good luck to him, I see a big future

I thought he was on the TH side, so against Hoopert. Robertson was the LHP. Either way the scrum improved when he was replaced

    Waratahs 2020

Not ideal, but judging by some comments on forums there will be plenty that are happy for him to move on. I wonder if it was all very sudden or been in motion and it's the rwason why it's taken a while to find a new coach. Oh well, inwards and upwards

    Rugby World Cup 2019

Yes Leigh, saw the game and was a terrible example of using 2 refs. Too many Chiefs. Between I referee, one TMO and 2 linesman there's enough people to get the calls right. I agree with others that the Referees are being criticised for correctly ruling on bad laws. (Sea What?)

NRC Rnd 6: QLD Country v NSW Country - 6 Oct Bond University, Gold Coast

It's crickets in NSW as well, you really have to go looking to find any news about it. On the plus side, it's run on a shoe string budget so doesn't have huge costs involved and seems to be picking up in standard

Yep. This game was played at the same time as the ABs v Namibia which was a good contest until half time and was shown live on Fox
