    The Wallabies Thread

I think we're forgetting that Richard Hardwick has been absolutely excellent this season at 6, 7 and 8 for the Force. He's a real no-nonsense, abrasive type of player and thats exactly the type that Cheika likes AND Cheika has come out and said that he really rates his play. He's not a...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I know for a fact big bad Billy P wanted to sack KB (Kurtley Beale) but, as any astute leadership would do in a sensitive situation with accusations of partisan treatment being thrown around, the ARU hired an independent panel to review the situation and the rest in history. The KB (Kurtley Beale) incident opened up a can of...

Jaguares vs Force - Velez Sarfields Stadium

Its getting to the point where I'm not sure if Hodgson or McCalman are first choice anymore. Hardwick, Naisarani and Koteka are absolute weapons. As is RHP at 6.

    Western Force 2017

Alright boys I'm fully on the Force bandwagon now. Force to top the Aussie conference and somehow miraculously win three in a row to take out the Super Rugby title. Cinderella story and all that. Bradbury's going to make an Olympics comeback after seeing it. Hows your injury list and how...

Jaguares vs Force - Velez Sarfields Stadium

Love, love, love the Force. You get the feeling that no one is bigger than the team and that they're all in it together. Hardwick, Naisarani, Phillip, RHP are all fantastic players, and the best thing is that the team is greater than the sum of its parts. That simply isn't the case at the...

    Rebels v Reds, Sat 13 May @ 7:45pm

What the devil - I thought that was a great game of rugby. Lots of intent and passion as previously mentioned. As per usual, I don't have much profound to say, but will cover what's already been said: + Mafi. What a player, although he's pushing the refs further and further each week...

    Waratahs 2017

Is that real? Please tell me that's not a legitimate quote. Sounds like he misheard the interviewer and answered "why rugby makes wealthy people" instead of "worthy people". As a society we're getting those two confused more than ever. Fuck Hore.

    Waratahs 2017

I actually reckon Horwitz has had a good seaason! Strong defence, strong running and good distribution in the midfield. I don't think I'm alone in thinking he's improved this season. We don't need Cronk.

    Waratahs 2017

    I would likewise cry.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

As did the Perth Spirit (or Pigs, as they refer themselves). The clubs need to take ownership of their identity and marketing and it'll grow naturally.

    Waratahs 2017

If we fuckin' sign Cronk, as discussed in the media, I'll cry.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Do we really need our best players? The modern games emphasis on insanely agile and athletic 100kg+ monsters, alongside really effective defensive patterns, has taken most of the space out of the game and only really NZ (and the Lions) have shown in the last two years that they can match that...

Junior rugby based on weight classes

The problem is more so the tackles they're making on you. Got a fresh Grad job that you've studied for 3+ years for? Yeah, nah, I'd rather not lose use of my right arm for 2+ months at a time post surgery. Working a trade? A friend of mine simply can't drive cranes without his shoulder /...

Junior rugby based on weight classes

I think a problem with rugby is that its so unaccessible for most people in the way its currently played. I could sign up to a football comp or an AFL comp tomorrow and go fine, but I remember in one of our finals in colts Subbies two years ago the opposition team fielded these two centres...

Junior rugby based on weight classes

Does this go into opens in NZ? Realistically, many of my friends no longer play because they work professionally and can't afford to do a shoulder / collar bone etc. and be out of action for a number of weeks. It's also gotten to the point where I'm simply not big enough to play the position...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Let's not forget that the next SANZAAR meeting is on May 10. Surely the ARU will have to show signs of progress. Will the announcement be made before then? What's their angle for that meeting?

    Sharks v Force, Sat 6th - Round 11 - Kings Park, Durban

Fuck Brache you useless prick just retire or commit seppuku or something.

    Sharks v Force, Sat 6th - Round 11 - Kings Park, Durban

I love my rugby but I don't know how much longer I can do this for. Today I watched the rebels, reds, Waratahs and now Force systematically dismantled by some teams that weren't even that great. I think I might just pick an English or French rugby side to support and be done with it.

    Sharks v Force, Sat 6th - Round 11 - Kings Park, Durban

I have never understood why Brache is picked, or has ever been picked, for the Force. Any RL off-cut or SS / Qld Premier rugby outside back is better than this chump.

    Sharks v Force, Sat 6th - Round 11 - Kings Park, Durban

Fuck yeah - might make the Force my official team for next season. They've been the only team to even look competitive or well drilled.
