    2015S15 SA vs NZ matches

If the Bulls can win by a bit more than just a few this weekend, I might need to start believing we can have a good season again. Still nowhere near championship material, though. But not as depressing as it was after the first 2 rounds. Still can't help but feel this coaching group is...

    2015S15 SA vs NZ matches

Hurricanes by 25. Stormers by 10. Hopefully the Canes win by 50, actually. Anything to get Ludeke out of there ASAP, and this won't happen while we keep ending in the middle of the table. This year is already a write-off, so might as well lose as many as possible.

    2015 S15R1 Bulls vs Stormers @ Loftus

Couldn't have said it better myself. Since 2010, we've become gradually less accurate each year. It's a clear pattern. We've also become more negative, kicking more and more, since running over the opponents in the first 10 minutes doesn't seem to work for some reason. Oh yes, it's because...

    2015 S15R1 Bulls vs Stormers @ Loftus

We were slow, inaccurate, weak at the breakdown, and our scrum sucked. Also, this new "expansive gameplan" never even showed its head, especially when Jurgen Visser got the ball - you just KNEW he was gonna kick. Same old Ludekak. Congrats to the Stormers, and you were unlucky to not win by...

    Ireland vs Springbokke @ Aviva

So, Bakkies went. Schalk was great vs. England. And yes, Ruan Pienaar is there because, as you say: - The alternatives are shit. - He would be more familiar with the conditions come WC time than Piet van Zyl, Vermaak, etc. (Vermaak plays for Toulose, south France - long way away from UK, and...

    England v Springboks - Twickenham

And the one maul they started from a lineout 20 metres out, where the whole backline joined when the maul before the lineout was over, when they were supposed to be 10 metres <-- that way, not offside, like they were, which resulted in a try in the end. Also, the Habana catch when his foot was...

    England v Springboks - Twickenham

His attitude is reason enough to avoid him. Maybe he's grown up a bit since he went to France, but while he was here, he always looked for trouble with the opposition, or backchatting the ref excessively, or even yapping at his own captain. No thanks. We have enough in Du Preez, Hougaard...

    Poefie hoor.

    Ireland vs Springbokke @ Aviva

Janee, it's getting a bit silly now. Not worth even replying any more. Only 2 different players from 2011? Somebody's not getting ANY of their facts straight.

    Ireland vs Springbokke @ Aviva

We had much more experience with the team he could pick, and the best players were based locally. Also, since 2011, the All Blacks have been on a different level. Also, Meyer's winning percentage is a lot higher, and the quality of rugby we play is a lot better. I see nothing but Heyneke...

    Ireland vs Springbokke @ Aviva

My point is we've been a lot better under Heyneke on EOYTs than under previous coaches. Under piet helium and Jake White, a loss vs. Ireland over there was pretty much a given, and if we got a result, it was a bonus. Under Heyneke, it's a bit more of a disappointment, and unexpected. If you...

    Ireland vs Springbokke @ Aviva

This is the first match since 2010 that we have lost on a year end tour, so I wouldn't exactly calling a crisis meeting yet. And for not one moment do I justify the complacency - anything but. I hate it when our teams get complacent, as you then start losing matches you should really win...

    Ireland vs Springbokke @ Aviva

You don't have to buy into it - it's the truth. Look at Australia vs. Scotland and Samoa at home over the last few years - granted, it wasn't their A team, but at home you'd still have expected them to win with the players at their disposal. Also, look at game 2 against Wales this year. We...

    France v Australia

This could go either way. Either France by 50, or Australia by 50.

    Ireland vs Springbokke @ Aviva

Nah. If we played with the same intensity as we did during the rugby championship, and taken the points when we should have, I reckon we would have got there. Just looked like we turned up expecting the Irish to fall over, which we really shouldn't have. And Ruan Pienaar is way too slow. I...

    Springboks going forward

I fully disagree. And yes, I blame the quotas. I call a spade a spade. Last time, the coach was the biggest quota, as publicly admitted by SA Rugby.

    Ireland vs Springbokke @ Aviva

Underestimating them was definitely the cause. Going for a lineout 3 times - THREE! - in the first half, when it was clearly kickable. Also Pollard taking on a clearly big wall of defenders was probably not the best idea. They clearly saw him play earlier this year, and made sure his channel...

    Springboks going forward

Ironically, that doos started the problem by not blooding any new talent. But hey, relax, this was one game. I didn't see you panic like this when Jake White lost to a crappy France at Newlands in 2006, or Ireland away, with a very decently aged team. It's easy to over-react. By the way, the...

    2014 Springbok EYT

Indeed. It's only the anit-Heyneke clan that will criticise him at the level some people do. Of course he has his faults, but Mallett, White etc. all did things we questioned, they did much stupider stuff than Meyer does, yet we still supported them regardless.

    2014 Springbok EYT

Typical WP reply, that. In the spirit of provincialism, I'd replace them with these: Flip van der Merwe Jesse Kriel Bjorn Basson Rudy Paige Werner Kruger JJ Engelbrecht If you think that looks ridiculous, you know how I feel reading your post.
