I think he could be more, I know fat weighs less than muscle but he is surely more than 5kg more than Tupou.

He is a big unit, what would he weigh?

Zander has a very long way to go, watched the game last night and he was monstered. Unsure if UQ usually struggles in the scrum so it may not be all his fault but he did not stand out as being a THP prospect.

    Wallabies 2023

I have long thought we don't take enough chances at drop goals, it is not the most exciting way to play the game but as soon as we get advantage within 30m of the line we may as well have a shot. This does not happen very often so it would be hard to work out "money ball" stats on whether it is...

    Wallabies 2023

Didn't we turn down a penalty chance in front when we were about 11 points down with 20 mins?? to go? I realise that this would still leave us with 8 points to get even but there was plenty of time left.

What rugby needs to do to get back to its roots and entertain customers.

I love that idea in relation to subs only being allowed during the breaks.

What rugby needs to do to get back to its roots and entertain customers.

1 - Why can't penalties be changed to drop goals rather than place kicks? It will either speed things up or encourage teams to go for more tries. 2- Agree there needs to be a speed up, I would also like to see infringements for throws not being straight restricted to only apply if a line out is...

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2022/jul/17/ryan-jones-dementia-diagnosis-aged-41-wales-rugby-union Only 41! This is a tragedy, hopefully the rule changes in the past few years can reduce this happening in the future

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

There will always be players who want to be paid to play football over working a "normal" job.

I quite like Zander, he seems to work hard and do what is asked from him. I wonder if him switching is to improve his chances of playing, and to add value to him as a player. Good luck to him, hope it works out.

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

That has been my biggest gripe for many years, I think Australians are happy to overlook deficiencies if every now and again the player does something exciting or scores plenty of tries (and ignoring their defence liabilities). I like to call these players "x factor" players.

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

I would add being able to pass both ways competently as a pre requisite to represent your country. If you want to play 9,10,11,14 or 15 then you also need to be able to kick accurately and long distance.

    Refereeing decisions

is the reasonable expectation based on the player involved, or an average player? I think Perese would intercept about 1 in 20 attempts given the same circumstances, at what point is he a reasonable chance?

    Reds 2023

I think if he wants to play for the Reds that he should choose a different position, 15 is pretty tied up at the moment, unless Campbell and Petaia are injured at the same time I doubt he would get a shot at 15 for a significant period of time.

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

The pressure on the head did not concern me, it was the throat work that should be of concern. There was no chance of a suffocation but a real chance of injury to the throat that can cause all sort of issues. Unbelievable that it did not get a card, what mitigation could possibly allow for...

It should be decided in real time, but, and it is a huge but, if other decisions are made in slow motion or frame by frame then surely all decisions should be.

    Refereeing decisions

I think kicks should stay, it give a reward for scoring under the posts. I would move to a drop goal with an expectation it is taken quickly. If you want to add some fun to the game, maybe the try scorer should kick their own conversion drop kick

I agree, even at the Rebels I would put him behind Eloff and in Gold he will be behind Tupou. Him and Tupou smashing people at the same time as LHP and THP is quite a nice thought.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

Not as much fun to say his name when drunk. Seru Uru is difficult after quite a few beers, very slurry name.

I feel wing is his best position because he only has be aware of one side and what is in front of him. It reduces the amount of work he does compared to full back where you have to be aware of both sides and what is in front of you.
