    Rebels 2023

I can't blame him for wanting make some hay while the sun shines. He has been a great servant to both the Rebels and the Wallabies and at 28 is looking to maximize his earnings before he hangs up the boots.

Using the new slogan of "Six Men One Cup" hadn't gone over quite as well as the marketing team had expected.

Actually Dave Rennie is being paid "to not coach the 2023 wallabies".

The number one skill for a 9 is his ability to pass strong and accurately from the ground. Tate is the weakest passer out of the top 4 scrummies in the country (including Tuttle). I like Tate at the end of a game where his darting from the base of the ruck can be useful but while his core skills...

I actually think it is the other way around. Look at what happened with the loss to Italy and Argentina. The rugby tragics, myself included, could find excuses for those performances, "Italy and Argentina are improving", "We had to rest players because of paying too many games" etc... The...

Wallabies v Ireland, Sun 20th Nov 7am AEDT

Our defence was reasonable but the Irish offered absolutely nothing in attack. It is pretty easy to defend against a side with no adventure in the attack. Both teams defences stood up because neither team asked any real questions of the other. Our discipline is appalling and our game plan is...

I don't disagree. I was a front rower when I played so I agree that the forwards are the most important area. However, I don't believe that selection in the forwards has made any glaring errors beyond this player maybe better than that. I did say that though I thought if you are going to play...

I have a couple of issues with Rennie's selections particularly with the make up of his bench. Again he selects a 5/3 bench with two of the 3 backs being one position players. Lolesio should only be selected as a starting 10 should never be selected from the bench same as Foley. I don't care...

He definitely needs a few weeks on the leg press. The last time I saw legs like that they had blue cheese dressing on them.

Let's hope DR at least makes some smarter selection decisions. The 23 can have only one of Foley or Lolo in it, you can't have both because neither can play any other position except maybe 12. Even then if Lolo had come on and played 12 it would have changed how the rest of the backline played...

    Wallabies 2023

I don't think the issue with our game is fitness. We appear as fit as other sides but we do appear to have periods where we switch off. It also appears to me that we play dumb rugby with no feel for how the ref is running the game. We always give away a heap of penalties early because we take...

    Rebels 2023

Given the Rebels injury woes I hope the big building in the middle is the physio facilities.

    Rebels 2023

The problem is it is a catch 22 situation. The only way to bring in quality to the Rebels or Force is to offer them a starting place. If you are not an assured starter you may go to one of the big three to sit on the bench but you won't come to Melbourne or Perth. Therefore when we have injuries...

And preferably one that doesn't have a 2 cent head.

    Rebels 2023

I agree to a point. I like the fact that we have a couple of true 6s in Leota and Kemeny and a couple of 7s in Wilkin and Dickie. We are also quite strong in the 1 & 3 spot. The rest of the pack looks thin. At the moment the only confirmed Hooker is Uelese, I believe, and he doesn't have a...

What about Wilkins he always impresses me with his work rate and willingness to do the team thing. He never really seems to let us down and 7 is a pretty good spot to lead from.

    Wallabies 2023

Completely agree the pigs need to give White the ability to get clean ball and too often they were out muscled. However, even the times that we gained parity on our own ball he is still glacial at getting the ball out and when he does we too often immediately move into the caterpillar and a...

    Wallabies 2023

That has to go back to Rennie. That all kicking from hand is constantly through the halves that has to be a team plan and not just the way the game goes.

    Wallabies 2023

We allowed pressure onto our breakdown by White being so slow to try and extract the ball. When you have a big powerful pack against you you need fast ball to try and negate the dominant breakdown. White likes to slow the game and keep the ball as long as he can in the zone which is playing...
