RWC: IRE v FRA (POOL D) Mon 12th@2:45am

Newcastle is a lot closer to Scotland than to London though. ;) That is all. :p

Same goes for French fans too then. :) Will be interesting to see the balance between fans.

RWC: IRE v FRA (POOL D) Mon 12th@2:45am

Well the whole of France is right across the channel, and their access to the UK is pretty easy too. And there are quite a few South Africans over there from here - obviously the majority are expats, yes. But that goes for any non-European team's support there anyway. I'd even say it could...

Tumour forces Italy's Martin Castrogiovanni out of World Cup http://www.espn.co.uk/rugby/story/_/id/13817761/tumour-forces-italy-martin-castrogiovanni-rugby-world-cup What a shame. Luckily won't miss many games, though.

A face only a mother could love. Image unavailable for anyone else? EDIT: Oh, you have to be logged in to view it. Now who's being silly...

You'd be happy if I was silly but right.

RWC: IRE v FRA (POOL D) Mon 12th@2:45am

See, I thought that for the SA-Scotland game in Newcastle - so close to the Scottish border, it was supposed to effectively be Murrayfield-like. But that clearly wasn't the case - it was about 50-50, if not slightly in our favor. And France is a helluva lot closer to Cardiff than South Africa...

    The Fallout from RWC 2015

I'd rather have Tonga at the world cup than Hong Kong/Korea/The Dalai Lama's. Teams which are able to lose by 150 points will mean jack for the development of rugby in that area.

RWC: USA v RSA (Olympic Stadium): POOL B

Yes, vs. USA definitely. After that, a more balanced approach is needed. And I can bet you if we make the semi vs. NZ, it will be nothing like as open as the last 3 matches at Ellis Park.

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

I know, me too. :p By the way, before the weekend I would've put my money on Wales. Now it's firmly on Australia. I also like the Aussie team vibe more - Quade gave it a bit of a twat feeling. Amazing how much one player can have an influence on one's view on a whole team. Foley is a no fuss...

    1. This match has huge relevance to the quarter final, likely against us. 2. I was replying to a post made by the plastic paddy, in this thread!

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

I can't say I have a solid view on the game. It's the Springboks. In 2015. We can win by 20 on the day, or we can lose by 20. Superbru is such a nerve-wracking experience with the Boks this world cup.

And we won't be able to complain about the 10 day gap between USA and the quarter final.

A presentation even Cipriani will understand.

We honestly don't mind the underdog tag. ;)

RWC: USA v RSA (Olympic Stadium): POOL B

Sarcasm? Pretty sure IF we lead by 30 at halftime(IF, because Japan), he'll unload pretty much the whole bench. The quarter-final is 9/10 days after tomorrow's game, so these players will need to play a bit now. If we were playing on the weekend, I'm sure the team would look a bit different.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

I'm not an Aussie lol. It would make me happy if he was banned for a few weeks, as there is still a chance we might play them in the quarters. But I called it as I saw it at the time. It looked from the other side like he hit him full-on on the shoulder. The pic above paints a different picture...
