I think that is right he spent a year in the US with his family around 14/15 and so was year older than most of his class on his return- he definitely played 79-81 in the XV.

I saw every game Lynagh played for GT, he was amazing, I would say though that in that era the best schoolboy I saw was the fullback from those mighty GT teams Stephen Partridge, father of George from last years GT XV.

Again Slatts didn't play firsts until 1980 in his year 10 year (15), lots of grade 9 myths out there, not many if any have played firsts in their under 14 year 9 years.

Pretty sure Lynagh did not play firsts until year 10 he was playing NFL for a school in the US in grade 9 ;-).

I am pretty sure Craig Polla-Mounter played as a true u/15 year 10 student for IGS in the mid-late 80's - played 150+ NRL games.

Just a had a look great work - Not sure BBC finished third last year though, their three losses were good for equal 4 with GT - 5th really given the loss to same.

Has this been confirmed - is Lodder out for the entire season?? I notice he is not training and played no part in the trials, but a season seems excessive.

Looks about right i cant see Roycroft playing anywhere but 12, although i do like McMamara, I prefer porter at 6 too. Is Forsythe the BGS boy is he at GT? Just to clarify one more time no one is saying Leofa is dropped just he needs a lot of fitness work before the season kicks off as it...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2014

I never said Leofa was IN the seconds, I said he was running with the seconds and I don't think the coaches are happy with where his fitness is at - he'll be there in round one as I am sure the work will be done. He has all the skills and hits like a truck. I would say the team is as...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2014

Sorry didn't mean to mislead - and on reflection see the problem should have said seemed to be - I was merely stating I did not know the hooker and McMahon seemed to be sitting out the tough stuff at any rate - hand injury??? - I was not referring to specifically last night as I did not see the...
