    Reds 2023

He seems pretty switched on, hardly the type of person to burn bridges. Maybe he will be back once his kids have grown up in some capacity?
  2. liquor box

    Queensland Reds 2024

That is a valid point, but I fear whoever the Reds choose, given their history will probably be worse that a guy who hasn't coached for 10 years.

    Lions Tour 2025

I would love to be a sporting tourist, unfortunately my work needs 6 -12 months notice to get holidays approved so travelling for Super Rugby is not possible for me. I would love to visit a new town (or country) every season to see the Reds play away from home, but cant make it happen without...

SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) 2023 General Chat

AU conference ladder update after round 8 Brumbies 17 points (4 games) Rebels 9 points (3 games) Tahs 8 points (4 games) Reds 7 points (4 games) Forces 4 points (3 games) the ladder is skewed due to uneven number of games

    Moana v Reds 14/4

Possibly, but if I was in one of those regions I would probably still prefer my own team rather than a shared team
  6. liquor box

    Moana v Reds 14/4

I wouldn't want to watch a team that is a merger of different areas, especially not with other countries, as a supporter you want to feel some type of ownership of the team, not sharing it

    Moana v Reds 14/4

I think there is an argument to made for that, but a better argument can be made for Hodge for the world cup bench spot.

    Queensland Reds 2024

I just hope that whoever is chosen, assuming Thorn goes is universally considered capable of the role, this will at least allow for all fans to support whatever direction is chosen

    Reds 2023

I hope the Reds announce that Vunivalu has the full support of the board. At least this way we would know his future;)

    Reds 2023

Robbie Deans would be my pick, the Reds need to be relevant in the Brisbane market and he is a big enough name to get headlines.

    Round 7: Reds v Brumbies - Friday April 7 @ Suncorp 7:35pm

Was there another Henry that doesn't deserve a contract? If he is so poor performing that he should be cut then I think you missed about 20 players from the squad that are more deserving of the same treatment. Hard to disagree with Zander, he has been poor but I think he is now becoming a...

SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) 2023 General Chat

I think that the Reds are stuck in the mindset that the Rabbitohs were in League prior to Russel Crowe buying them, they still think that they are a sporting club and try to be loyal to their development pathways to the point where they seem to prefer signing a local talent rather than...

SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) 2023 General Chat

The top ups skew the competition, I think RA need to encourage players seeking a top up to play for the team that RA thinks will given them the best chance for game time. Why do some players get a top up to be on the bench when other teams struggle to have decent starting players?

    Rugby and League MERGER.

Parents will still let their kids play, the old "it never hurt me when I was a kid" excuse will be used.

AU conference ladder Brumbies 17 points (4 games) Rebels 9 points (3 games) Reds 7 points (4 games) Forces 4 points (2 games) Tahs 3 points (3 games) I am pretty sure these numbers are correct, obviously the ladder is skewed due to uneven number of games

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I am a bit surprised that CH9/Stan and their newspaper business don't keep up with the results. 9am in Brisbane the day after a game and https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/sport/rugby-union still does not have an article about last night. Surely it would not be too hard to get someone at the...

    Round 7: Reds v Brumbies - Friday April 7 @ Suncorp 7:35pm

How much before? Immediately before he took over or years prior?

    Queensland Reds 2024

Cabous Eloff would be my number 1 target, I don't know what it would take to get him, but with Tupou going to the Rebels then he is likely to be one rung lower on their team list. He can play both sides and I am guessing will get Wallaby top ups when he becomes eligible.

Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 1st April, GIO

If Pocock is involved it wont be a clear roof, it will be all solar panels, parking only for electric vehicles and public transport to the door. Maybe it could also feature some type of battery or other trending green initiative to make it suitable.
