RWC: USA v RSA (Olympic Stadium): POOL B

Indeed. We should be able to beat anyone we face. I don't think we'll find Wales any easier anyway. And we'll be favorites against neither.

RWC: USA v RSA (Olympic Stadium): POOL B

One match at a time - all that matters now, is the quarter final, and we don't even know who we're playing yet. This is gonna be a looooong 10 days.

RWC: SAM v SCO (Newcastle): POOL B

Scotland by 20. I'm guessing Samoa will have 1 leg on the plane already and will be completely disinterested in putting up a fight.

    Rugby Quotes of the Week

Haha! Imagine him and Nick Mallett or John Mitchell in the same coaching team.

    Rugby Quotes of the Week

I'm pretty sure he has high blood pressure by now. The man is passionate as fuck.

RWC: USA v RSA (Olympic Stadium): POOL B

Less than 3 hours to go - slightly nervous. If we can find a way to lose this one as well, we could be out of the world cup...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Ah, the troubles these minnows have to deal with. ;)

Yeah fair enough. See previous reply. 0.25 speed confirmed what you were saying. I was clearly wrong.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Thanks for the info. When I looked at it at 0.25 speed on Youtube, I saw a few frames that I didn't see before. Unfortunately, you're 100% correct. He was leading with the knee higher than before. If he's been doing this so often(that beastmode video for example), how is he still playing...

Well I guess anyone can see what they want to see. I don't see what you're seeing. And again, even if you're right, why is it that he got 5 weeks and Hooper got only one week? Both would be equally malicious.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

It's a running motion. Nothing more, nothing less. And it has total relevance, since this is what Tuilagi was doing there. How do you suggests he runs forward if he can't lift his knee as if he's running - oh, wait, he IS running. Summersaults? Backflips? Hahaha Anyway, the point was regarding...

Then Hooper got off lightly with 1 week.

    Like vs. Japan.

Look at all these sprinters trying to decapitate each other - amazingly none of them got banned!

I think you're just looking for controversy which isn't there. He didn't drive his knee into the player. He lifted it in his running stride. Can't really blame him for the tackler getting his body position and head position all wrong.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Yeah. That's how you RUN. Which is clearly all he is doing. If that's a ban then every tackle should be a ban. Fucking ludicrous.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Yeah. The tackler got his head and body position all wrong for the tackle, that's all. And leading with the knee - how the fuck does one run without leading with the knee?

Meanwhile, this innocuous-looking incident will get you five weeks. Guess we must brace ourselves for some more ludicrous and inconsistent citings and sanctions in the second half of this world cup.
