Of the serious contenders, SJC will benefit most from the change of timings for the GPS Athletics. Instead of having half the first XV doing Aths and coming into the rugby on a very basic preseason, SJC are getting a much longer preseason than years before and will ready to roll come game one...

Even as a Joeys boy from a while back I find that a poor and ignorant comment. At Joeys, the 1st XV are only as good as they are because of the quality and depth below them. Can other schools say this?

Despite the appearance of new and Scots dominance, it was a close season, if the rub of the green went differently, could've been entirely different outcome. Great for the GPS 1st XV competition.

Agreed, All the boys from all the schools across the grades, 13b thru the 1st have provided great entertainment and shown good sportsmanship. Congrats to the schools, coaches, boys and parents.
