Mr Red& Black You have taken me out of context; There is a difference between "talking" & "talking it up". I have consistently said that on paper I pick: 1.Churchie; 2.NC; 3.BBC or TSS Although I note BBC play NC & Churchie at home and surprisingly BBC continue to be the bogey team for...

Dear GPS Selector. Yes-I am a long suffering BBC supporter-but I am also a supporter of schoolboy rugby. That is why I suggested the GT team you posted was very impressive. I am sure you are right in saying that the GT 16B wiped BBC last year. But you better be a little careful that does not...

Young man - I admire your school spirit but the 16 B And C teams count for nought when looking at depth for a first. Xv which is usually comprised of the very best 16 & 17 yr old s and more and more 18!year olds. If the Terrace 2 nd xv win more than 4 matches I will,go nude in queen st

Wow impressive team. But 3 problems: depth , depth, depth.if roycroft or Te rupe get injured then it's all over.

Dear mr king. Great comment On paper ,BBC have 2 very strong squads. But in 2012 they had 5 Qld players including 2 Australian schoolboys who played a total of ..........4 matches between them !!the captain did not play one match . Nether did Banks who was yesterday named in Aussie under 20...

Kids from WA at BBC. Ngamau was reserve for Aussie A schoolboys and is in Qld under 18 squad with Carrozza. He will make 1sts xv at 15 or 10.Everyone very impressed.Even hard markers like Barker/Phillpotts. Raroren will propbably play 9 or 10 in 2nd xv unless Dempsey injured.

BBC Captain is either Malalou or Edwards

    QLD GPS Rugby 2014

The other 2 things that appear clear are: 1) the new kid from WA that was reserve for Aussie A schoolboys last year is in line for 15 not 10; 2) there will be at least 4 very good centres playing in the 2nd xv for BBC

Group 2 does not look strong.but remember last year:TSS looked invincible : BSHS looked good and NC looked average- so I would not read too much into it.

At last count BBC had 8 going for the 2 centre positions: - centre and wing from 2013 firsts; - undefeated 15 A Centres who are both rep league players ; - 16A Centres who are both rep rugby players; -foulds who is the biggest of the lot and Ngamu who has gone straight into the QRU squad with...

GT-12 & 13 are up there with best centre pairing in comp -ie-Churchie. But what if they get injured.where is depth?? Good to see DR Chapman has changed his mind-3,11,12&13 are great aditions.

Take off the rose glasses. BBC with Bronson,Wilkins and Smith = biggest 2,12& 13 in comp and 1st or 2nd Without those 3 = 4th or 5 th

Yes . I heard. Smith was only interested in league the 15A team was undefeated before' he arrived.Only need an expulsion and 5 more injuries and it will be 2012 again.still you have good depth when you can replace the 2 probable centres with the 2013 centres from the firsts. !! Keep hearing the...

Gunter,Wilkins ,Foulds,,Ngmau,Smith etc etc all grade 11.So next year at least 4 of them will be 3rd year in 1st xv. Mate -BBC are like the Boston Red Sox(always the Bridesmaids)-as we have seen in the last 3 years(5 Qld players injured in 2012!) something will go wrong:injury,expulsion,awol...

Dear Mr Expert , good to see you are back on this thread and still putting the boot into BBC. Even I have to admit your tipping last year was by far and away the best on this thread. What is your crystal ball predicting this year. How will your beloved dark blue / light blue go ? Will they go...

[Little Bro tells me: 1) Bronson did not go to school yesterday and is not coming back'; 2) BBC have 10 1st choice players back plus Lucas Palmer (who played 4 matches in 1sts); 3) 15 A players in line for 1sts squad are Ikatu,Syd Smith and Veravis; 4) new boys are: -Lachlan Folds (big tough...
