    Rugby 7s general chat

Hooper would make a great 7's player based on what i saw, reckon izzy would be as well, don't buy people saying he wouldn't be fit enough

The success of League players in Rugby Union

And also super league is really only played widely in parts of northern england, so don't have the same number of players etc as nrl, so would be more depth there

The success of League players in Rugby Union

My mate might have been bullshitting but he said super league is much more open and free-flowing, whereas nrl is more physically intense, so the comparison would be super 15 to top 14

    Northern Hemisphere Rugby Season 14/15

Italy are now just one place above Georgia in the world rankings, could there be a relegation element added to the six nations?

All Blacks vs Poms - 3rd test

Eddie Jones has made a concerted effort to select Japanese players rather than being full of ex-pats, are still a few but the cherry blossoms are on the rise

    Wallabies v France 3rd Test - 21 June Sydney

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the pack against the Argies in 2012 was bigger with Timani at 6

    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

Was interested in what the crowd would be like and went on the ticket website, do the areas with no availability mean they are sold or that you cannot reserve tickets there? If the former the crowd could be good

    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

Am I the only one who thought when Benny McCalman came on he got go forward with every carry even if he was caught behind the gain line? Find it strange people are saying he was inconspicuous

All Blacks v Poms, Test 1 Auckland

New Zealand being kept in this by Nigel Owens

All Blacks v Poms, Test 1 Auckland

Probably a bad example to use, could just be me but sometimes I get the feeling marshall is looking to praise the opposition all the time so he doesn't look biased and often what he comes up with is pretty forced

All Blacks v Poms, Test 1 Auckland

Have to say the Pom commentators are shocking, the arrogance is normally pretty astounding, I think the kiwi commentators, especially Marshall try too hard to be impartial, like when he was fawning over AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

A really aggressive defence is important, if you can rattle the French attack they have no clue, at points in the six nations you could put a blanket over their entire team

    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

Not sure if this is official but read somewhere that Bastareaud may be injured, with Bordeaux centre Le Bourhis coming in

    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

    Really?!? Feck.
