Know any fit young women who want to go to the Olympics?

Just tell them about how the Olympic Village really works and you'll have more auditions than X Factor and SYTYCD combined.

They should televise this game. Seriously. Get SBS down there with a few cameras and have some know it all (in a good way) from Gaggerland commentate.

BROTHERS JUNIORS TROPHY DAY - This Sunday - 16 September from 11am to 4pm. Even if you're not a member, come on down, let the kids go on the rides, grab some BBQ and a slurpie. Great day out at Crosby Park.

    Gay Rugby World Cup

Im starting to think that non-elite competition is more enjoyable to watch. The lower standard of play doesn't seem to detract form the excitement of the competition at all and if anything makes it more visceral when you're at the ground. It also can often make the game more open and exciting...

They're well looked after on that front, thanks for your concern. I didn't raise the incident and have just put up the info I have received in what i think is a pretty reasonable fashion. If there was bias then that's not a good thing and that's all I have said. You feel otherwise it seems...

Some more info on that Sunnybank Brothers clash - "Bit more 3rd hand info, none I can actually verify. According to a few Brothers spectators that were close to play the AR who brought in the late penalty was heckled by Sunnybank supporters before putting up the flag, you could only imagine...

    Fingers crossed.

    Gay Rugby World Cup

I don't see how a persons sexual orientation is relevant to sport in any way. "Gay Only" events like this risk putting the focus on the wrong thing when it should be about tolerance and acceptance day to day in mainstream competition. I respect their right to stage the event, I just wonder if...

I find it amusing the way fundie Christians and social conservatives protect Marriage like they invented it.

    $1 million Rugby Revolution

Bruce, I wasn't directing anything at anyone in particular. And having a perfect concept residing on GAGR's servers doesn't get it any closer to reality. It may fail to launch, and it may not be perfect, but at least a bloke with an apparent track record of getting stuff done has his shoulder...

If they are denied participation in a rep comp I think in the circumstances that would be unjustifiably harsh. They should not have uttered audible obscenities but given the circumstances and given the choice words were not directed at a Ref, further punishing them seems unreasonable.

    $1 million Rugby Revolution

Rather than expend huge amounts of intellectual effort and countless electrons going on about what might be preferable/better/etc, how about we all get behind Balmain and Waz and the very well thought out and comprehensive proposal that they are actually putting into motion and backing with hard...

Ok, another version. From a Brothers aligned person - just mentioning that but will also mention this person is scrupulously fair and credible. Full time had not been called, Brothers awarded a penalty and about to kick it out. The ref reversed the penalty back to an offside that was...

OT - That's not true is it? I thought State High did really well academically.

If the referee called full time, it's full time. Period. I'll watch what happens with some interest but I would be disinclined to let that result rest if even half of what you've written is remotely accurate.

    Will Genia's injury

Barnes has metatarsal oblong attractus. It's an overwhelming condition that extends all the way to the frontal lobes and can sometimes present early on with a tendency to easy concussive brain injury. Ongoing selection is contraindicated.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 3 Game 1 Australia vs South Africa - 8 Sep

Then what we need clearly is some type of internal nano- engineered bio enhancement to stop them getting ripped off the damn bones.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 3 Game 1 Australia vs South Africa - 8 Sep

So it seems we can beat everyone but NZ, even if its ugly and messy and involves the continuance of this ridiculous aimless kicking game. What it means to be number 2 I guess. Makes you realise just how much better they play than the rest of the world right now.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 3 Game 1 Australia vs South Africa - 8 Sep

Someone needs to invent a structure that can be worn by football players that prevents these knee injuries while not restricting movement. It will need some advanced materials that can sense when a joint is being torqued the wrong way and can react to lock things up. Maybe some sort of nano-...
