Very solid team. But I thought the two best 12’s in the comp were Tom Millard (Ashgrove) and Nate Clark (Padua).

Their centres and wingers didn’t touch the ball. Horrible, boring, 10-man rugby. Play like that again this weekend and Padua will put 50 on them.

Ashgrove looked very good today. Sets up a massive early season game against Padua next weekend. Lauries still the team to beat but Iona would be gutted with today’s result. Looking like a very competitive season ahead.

Are Ashgrove in a whole heap of trouble? Just got beaten by their own 2nds, 15-7, in a 30 minute hit out after playing a half each against St John’s Nambour.

I believe they are playing St John’s Nambour next week in the Rosalie tribute match?
