Really enjoyable trial game today, you can't really read too with trail games but nice combinations from both teams

I enjoyed watching the trial game today, the concept is great, perhaps they can rotate and played Manly, Rats, and North next year. Then the following year Eastwood, Southern, etc... A lot of the players involved won't get regular Super Rugby time this year but great to see them stepping up today

The Rebels have a naming rights sponsor, so I would say they are asking for too much. They seem to be resigning or signing "Major partners" but no naming rights sponsors yet. If you consider that every club side has a main sponsor then it has to be the $$$$

At the moment the Tahs, Brumbies, and Reds don't have a major sponsor. Well done Rebels, at least they have someone on board. The asking price might be too $$$ but not a good look for the established teams, don't know if the Force have one

Players are going to leave, just like people leave jobs. We only have five teams, he did not get an offer from one of the Super Rugby sides, OR he decided to go OS. If he wasn't good enough, didn't take his chances, the coach did not like him, wasn't ready, or did not get a fair go is irrelevant now...

As mentioned in one of my earlier posts, that winger that plays for Northern Suburbs, is a try-scoring machine in the SS yet he looked way out of his league in Super Rugby. The Tram to Leichahdt was a pretty good trip from Chinatown. A bit late here on the Brookvale oval topic but maybe it was unavailable? I don't think the Tahs will have first preference, also pretty sure they are renovating the venue

Excited about Leichhardt, obviously not going to suit everybody but I think it is a really good ground to watch rugby. They need to have proper Bar/Food facilities, Parramatta stadium has no issues there (in fact they are great), but Leichhardt? Much like Brookvale you could be waiting 40...
