    Lions v Waratahs - Round 16, 30 May 2015

Folau won't want to watch a replay of his last 10 mins. A lost ball then a pass to the opposition and then a horrid high pass to Foley that's led to a knock on & gifted the Lions territory within the 22 with less than 5 mins to go.

    Lions v Waratahs - Round 16, 30 May 2015

Points scored during Jacpot's yellow was 7-5 Lions. Tahs have done very well to inject their own pace & width on attack & with that try to Horne at 27-22 remain within striking distance.

    7 points conceded already:eek:

    Lions v Waratahs - Round 16, 30 May 2015

Jacpot's yellow card is likely to hurt the Tahs big time. They already seemed to be struggling with the pace that the Lions are exhibiting & now with a man down will do very well not to concede points during the next 10 mins.

Congratulations to Joeys on their big win, keeping View's 1sts & 2nds tryless & dominance across all age groups. Their rugby programme remains the benchmark for all other schools. Given that you were at the game you're no doubt in a better position to comment than my reliance on hearsay...

Kings v Shore: Kings with their tails up after their last start away trial win over Scots & to be too dominant in the forwards. K by 15. Scots v Newington: After last week's shock, Scots to come out firing and despite their best efforts Newington to play catch up for the balance of the game...

Great to feel the energy of this thread really coming to the fore with the imminent start to the season. Congratulations to George Grant for his very well penned preview, the current lead story on the homepage. View supporters are in for a great ride if GG's prediction as to their lofty...

IIRC a decision was made for one year only by the View powers that be to start the 1s early at View due to the shenanigans (a charitable description, I witnessed the unseemly incidents) that had occurred at HH the previous year. Joeys never followed suit. It's a traditional kick off time this week.

Book your parking spot at Hunters Hill now SDW. Jack Mc will be leading the View boys on Saturday.

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

"Counter-balanced" was deliberately in inverted commas; I could have used italics too:) I wouldn't affront you to even suggest that you said Kearns was a good commentator. I've been here long enough & share your misgivings.

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

Kafe's commentary is "counter-balanced" by Kearns who is a fan with a mike & who fails to impart any expert analysis or even attempt non-biased observations.

Misplaced criticism given that a brief review of just the 2 pages preceding your post showed at least one post from a supporter of 5 of the 6 schools playing in the 1sts comp with the exception being the absence of any obvious post from a Shore supporter.

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

You could say that about many of the Tahs' wins this season but they're moving in the right direction on the ladder & giving themselves a shot at defending a title - never easy. I'll also take a 4 tries BP win against the Saders anytime.

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

Horne should be first choice & I'd have Speight on the other wing. For all his highlight reel play, Naiyaravoro has too many chinks in his armour that could really hurt in big test matches.

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

Foley comes up with the clutch change up play with a few minutes to go just like a slow leg break from a paceman in the 50th over to clinch the game.

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

Folau loves those Hail Mary passes, would love to see him go to ground more when he's already done the damage over the advantage line. Such great attacking platforms come to nought in those situations too often for mine.

Sensational tackle by Dennis, great timing, pity about the wee knock on.

The "two Toms" are quality performers and have been for years. Expect them to figure prominently at GPS selection time & probably beyond.

    Rugby HQ 2015

Enjoyed the airplay given to the U20s last night including interviews with A.Kellaway & highlights of their clash on Tuesday night with the BaaBaas. Given that the ARU is now making a more serious investment in the U20s programme it's good to see media outlets such as this show giving it greater...
