Which oz players will retire or play overseas after rwc 2011

Are all the above speculations true? or is it just their managers planting rumours to get the advantage in contract renewals? I seem to recall similar threats last year when Hynes and Diggers were sorting out their contracts.

The Australian Points out what we already knew; Giteau is close to signing in france

Fixed In a perfect world, blah blah blah.... But a perfect world it aint. Winning the $$$ comes into play far too often. IMO, true loyalty would be represented by a player like Phil Waugh who plays for the same provincial side for his whole career as compared to someone like Barnes or Shmoo.

Bon voyage et adieu Monsieur Giteau as you return to your ancestral home. I think you would look best in Stade pink. I'm looking forward to a G&GR Gits Best of Mash Up but please don't let Naza do the editting.

    who f*cks you off? why?

When I was growing up I was taught that if you can't say something nice about someone then don't saying anything, hence his name alone is all: Richard Lowe

George Smith to Sanyo Wild Knights

Don't look at me what would I know, 3 years here and still no clue on the lingo. Wiki has George down for the Sanyo Wild Knights (with our good friend Sam Norton Wild Knight) but no more explanation as to how, when and why.

Retired Players you miss the most

No there won't and thank goodness for us. Jonah was awesome. End of story. If you are thinking about retired players who you miss the most from the current Wallaby 1st XV, that would have to be Bernie, Horan & Eales. Of the retired Wallabies who I really enjoyed watching (in an 'oh shit, this...

Mongrel – what is it? who has it? is it warranted?

Richard Brown is a good study of how to or how not to apply mongrel. He went too hard too early, kept getting pinged and has backed off since. He wasn't able to harness his aggression for good and not evil, and has gone missing since lacking confidence, commitment and positive mongrel. Mumm has...

Mongrel – what is it? who has it? is it warranted?

Morty has a bit of mongrel in him (and Richie obviously does) so it would seem that a successful captain has to know how to harness the aggression in himself and in his team, i.e. have mongrel. Did Farr-Jones show any signs of it? Comes across as the utmost gentleman IMO.
