    ISA Rugby 2016

Could the Pius/Gregs switch between pius or gregs home fields on alternate home weeks so that the visiting schools are together and don't have to worry about the 2nds losing their better players.

I think that it is a big call to be even suggesting St Pats go down to div 2 as I have said many times they're not far off it this year. St Pats have a minimum of 6 1st players returning next year, along with a handful of talented u16s. Shouldn't be all doom and gloom next year if they work hard...

    ISA Rugby 2016

I know that their firsts have just not copped the rub of the greens this year. They had a very tight tussle with oaks yesterday and have done so all year fighting till the last whistle from the couple of times I've seen them. Would like to see school boy insider's view on their season and...

Well said mate. Also big congrats to Bo Abra from Stannies, don't know him but seems like a typical Stannous boy who is happy to put his head in the places most players don't want to.

    CAS Rugby 2016

In regards to Doueihi he did not play for St Pats, with Nawaqanitawase (a yr 10 student) standing at 10 which by the sounds of things he can hold his own in 1st 15 football. I believe St Pats were short 6 starting players.

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2016

Going off your description of his scrummaging and work rate and after seeing him play on monday, I would have to assume you are talking abut Bo Abra from St Stanislaus. Very solid around the field and unlucky not to make either NSW in my opinion.

Reports ISA 1st 39-38 against CAS 1st. Must've been a great game anyone there?

    CAS Rugby 2016

Sounds like a brilliant game ! No surprise the likes of Mohi, Longville and Jordan playing well with their form this season, also similarly with ISA 10 and back row. I have heard plenty about them in the ISA feed and from my friends within the ISA. Wish I was at the game!!!!

Unfortunately have to agree with you here. As you said, and CatchnPass rightly pointed out, with the exception of Knox, ISA schools are seemingly stronger than CAS which would set it as the 2nd strongest comp in Sydney. Only reason for this is the relative strength across all teams throughout...

    ISA Rugby 2016

Really not enjoying seeing the Stannies faithful put down Pats 10 (Doueihi). Only reason I can think of them wanting to have a crack at this kids is so their No 10 (Harding? Who I believe is on pathways?) has the best chance of making ISA 1s and higher honours. Having watched him once this year...

I always thought that the refs were appointed by NSW Rugby in the 1s &2s not the school? (If this isn't the case then your argument has a case)However it is well know that a good crowd can sway a ref and St Pats are one of the more vocal schools in the ISA when it comes to cheering.

Whilst they are doing well, I feel that being in div 2, winning comfortably should be expected thus not that much of a 'great result'. However, I am looking forward to seeing if any 2nds team can match it with the boys from oxford falls (I feel that augustines may be able to given their results)...
