    Force 2023

The salary cap precludes that sort of thing happening, unless he was available for Wallabies selection and had a RA top-up.

All clubs have the same salary cap under the participation agreement

Western Force v Waratahs: Saturday 16th April

All teams have the same salary cap. Some teams have the added benefit of Wallaby top-ups which means their effective salary cap is significantly higher. I’ve heard figures of $5.5M cap but when you hear of $1M offers from EU and JP clubs you can see why players are going.

Western Force v Waratahs: Saturday 16th April

My opinion too. Plus the slow starts (a problem all year) has meant the Force has been chasing tries when they could have been taking penalties if they were closer.

Western Force v Waratahs: Saturday 16th April

I’m listening on Sports Ears and Sir immediately said “penalty only”. I didn’t get a clear view so no idea if that was the correct decision but Godwin queried it at the next stop.

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

Well, it was interesting to the end.

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

    Fair enough, i missed that.

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

The shoulder doesn’t clearly contact the head, at least not in any angle shown on the broadcast. Also, there was no discussion of mitigation so the protocols were not followed.

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

Let the players play. Deal with obvious foul play on the pitch and with the marginal stuff after the game (when you have the time to do it properly)

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

Good work Murphy - you gifted that to the Rebels
  15. SteveWA

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

That is ridiculous, especially if you look at some of the stuff Murphy ignored last week.
  16. SteveWA

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

Indeed. The TMO should be stood down for even considering it.

    You have been Murphyed.

    Except for his kicking.

FORCE v Rebels - Friday 8 April, HBF Park

It’s not just a recent thing.

FORCE v Rebels - Friday 8 April, HBF Park

The Rebels took the chances that were gifted to them. Good luck to them. The Force decision making in the last 10 minutes was inexplicable.
