    Rebels 2021

I don't normally waste my time on rebuttal of BS postings, but this one was worthy of Chairman Dan in the outright BS stakes and needed to have the light of truth shone over it so here goes. Tahs poaching our home grown talent? Gimme a break mate Rebels and Brumbies wrote the book. List of NSW...

    Western Force 2021

I'd guess the main thing he wasn't happy about was moving down the pecking order with young Angus Bell locking down the LH role and TR seeing the future as bench cover at best..... along with a few more up and coming front row prospects coming into the Tahs system making the move west a very...

    Waratahs 2021

I think there is huge upside in the current Tahs squad. In believe there is potential in the current squad to surprise plenty and beat all the Aust Super Rugby teams on their day A. Bell - We have the current Wallaby loose head prop who is potentially world class. T Horton - Excellent skill set as a...

    Aussie Player Exodus

There are plenty of squad fillers there, but from a Wallabies perspective you'd really only want to repatriate a few... McMahon, Gill and Kerevi with the rest at the end of their careers collecting super or already replaced by new talent. Hooper is back at the end of the Japanese season. The...

    Wallabies 2020

Considering the performance part really consists of one 80m session per week for 8 months of the year I don't think it's that big an ask at all. In fact if you're not motivated to give your 100% every game then you need to find yourself a day job. I've played plenty of amateur rugby and...

He's a fairly big unit already... could make a great 12 or FB imo.

    Waratahs 2021

OK, Here's my Christmas shopping list for any Billionaire rugby philanthropists who wants to make the Tahs great again... won't hold my breath though. Add these boys to the current squad and the tahs would be a real handful! Tolu Latu - Was close to our best player at RWC 19 Skelton - We...

    Wallabies 2020

With lock depth the way it is at present, we could well see Naiserani as bench lock cover anyway.....

    Wallabies 2020

I've always been of the view that converting stocky, muscular ex back-rowers to hooker around age 18 - 20 yo would produce the sort of players we need to compete at the international level... Look at Creevy for the Pumas, wouldn't get a look in as a back-rower these days, but absolutely kills it...

    Wallabies 2020

I'm really happy with the forward depth.. except perhaps Lock and hooker At lock we really have only 3 test quality - Rodda, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and Philip. Props are really strong with a couple of youngsters like HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) and Bell on the rise. Back row options everywhere and all quality plus a powerful contingent...

    Wallabies 2020

Tom Wright should definitely be in the conversation for a wing spot... he's got the gas, great footwork... a real handful. Also looks to have soft hands and a kicking game.. I'd have him and MK penciled in for the 1st test. Reminds me a bit of Miner-Skudder from the AB's a few years ago. Could...

    Waratahs 2020

Pat Tafa had a very good shift in the A game... looked for work, put his hand up for plenty of carries and dented the line. IMO he has to be brought into the matchday squad.. definitely as a lock. Doesn't seem to have the foot-speed or agility to play in the back-row. I'd happily swap him for...

    Waratahs 2020

I guess you missed this part of the post..... I know it's wonderful to look back with hindsight etc but I'm just making the point that the cards could have fallen differently with some more competent recruitment decisions..

    Waratahs 2020

So who should the Tahs have gone all-out recruiting?? All of these guys could have been picked up prior to going o/s or to another franchise... (All NSW players, all were ignored, signed elsewhere or let go....) I know it's wonderful to look back with hindsight etc but I'm just making the point...

    Waratahs 2020

I was more comparing the current crop to the kind of forward pack you need to win or compete with the best at Super Rugby level. Unfortunately very aware of the forwards under-performance recently:(

    Waratahs 2020

Unfortunately this squad has been disastrously mismanaged since Cheika left.. The recruitment decisions have been abysmal and reflect very badly on the management to date… For ‘no clue Gibson’ and Hore to completely cock up the roster and then bail out once the damage was done was criminal...

    Rebels 2020

Agree, the only position imo where he could become a top liner is fullback in the Roger Gould mode. Cannon boot and fairly good all rounder without the tackle busting you need at 12/13 or express pace you need out wide. I would've been playing him there for years to be honest, runs a pretty good...
