    Waratahs 2020

I’d be disappointed if the Waratahs don’t consider themselves one of the best clubs in the world.

    QLD Teams 2019

Leaving me pretty despondent over NRC. No push at all. Can’t really consider it a serious comp in 2019.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

He is fine tight, in fact it is his natural inclination. At 6 he is playing wider and in the train tracks. Wider is his challenge. Personally I’d drop Jones and place LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) as finisher/back up 4, 5, 6. I’m guessing Pocock will get a starting gig which might force the change I’m talking through.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2019

As funds continue in scarcity and experienced players chase better opportunities overseas, in this situation a system that produces regular young talent is very good. So is an HC and a coaching squad with a proven ability to quickly push young talent to competitive levels. It means that as...

    Reds 2020

Does anyone else remember the recruitment announcements last year? Constant concerns that it was late? Well done reds - all over it this year!

Got to agree with this. Promise to try and know enough to enter next year. Well done Jets.

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

Possibly bar White and Tupou everyone was a shade of themselves just a week earlier. But for me the two keys were Arnold and JOC (James O'Connor). Arnold was missed not just for his impact but for his leadership getting the pigs to follow suit. And something was fundamentally different that left JOC (James O'Connor) unleashed...

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

I want to hang on to this one. A rare period of genuine enthusiasm for Australian rugby. Somehow the game got deleted from my TV. Is there anywhere I can do a download?

Awesome work ABs. A marsupial slaughter,

Honestly. Reported from Sam Cane. “To be honest, I wasn’t aware of it until I looked at my game yesterday but there were times when you’d get over the ball and you’d know you were in a good position and then for whatever reason you get taken off it,” he said. “Whatever reason” such as our pigs...

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

No the posts aren't silly. Though I doubt it's the intentional illegal play that is the issue. As usual ABs were completely pushing the limits in the rucks. But the WBs play dealt with it and it increasingly led to frustration from the AB pack. The only thing that is different to usual was the...

Well the selectors are going for the Bled. Like most I’m a little cross eyed with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) but the selectors and the coaching team got us here. I’m all in on gold.

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

Actually, I think that "self deprecating" is a tag that reasonably fits rugby as a sport, it's just not a Kiwi thing or monopoly. Kiwis are welcome to skite, god knows the evidence is there to support it. And I don't have an issue with your claim here either. I'll just pass on it though I could...

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

I know I know, I'm getting repetitive but for one last time: Our main priority right now, without any flicker of doubt, should be the return of the Bled. Talk to me on Sunday about preparations for the RWC.

That’s right. ;-) I’m running with Byrne and Berne but not Bernie. Oh, and Cheika.

In Berne we trust. http://www.greenandgoldrugby.com/community/threads/wallabies-2019-thread.18280/page-187#post-1086652 More than this, if they pull off a Bled Cup re-homing I'll be happy to recognise Cheika as the greatest Wallaby Coach in 17 years. Coaching to that last game has to be...
