    Wallaby Locks

It is amazing how many current Aus rugby big men could have been helped by playing a bit more league as kids But I have never understood the idea of trying to make the gain line continually from a standing start, a bit more effort and hitting the ball on the burst has always made sense.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

It is a bit early to be running a thumb over propping skills, let us see how they all go against the foreign sides. The Aus derby games are never the proper test. Let's see how they all go against the Stormers, sharks and saders et al before making real judgement s Sent from my Nexus 4...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Let me put it this way, on current form JOC (James O'Connor) doesn't deserve a spot, but I think he is still busted and has been playing because of the rest of the injuries. Hopefully the week off and more troops returning will allow him to play his correct role which isn't leading an attack, but poaching Sent...

Waratahs v Brumbies, round 6, Sunday 22 March

ponies have a good rhythm at the moment, I can't see the Tahs winning this one

    Highlanders v Waratahs - R5, 2015

If we started shooting each player that missed a one on one with Ben Smith most sides would have no one left for the following week

    Highlanders v Waratahs - R5, 2015

The Highlanders negated the go forward regularly from the Tahs pigs and showed the backs the fools gold on the outside; and then closed us down. They also shut down the kick return until the 78th odd minute by having a disciplined chase. They are a very effective, hard working team. Beale's...

    Waratahs 2016

Yep, the squad needs freshening, we need a few props really Fatcat will be the only unit left that doesn't scare the shit out of me. Ryan and Tilse are not technically up to it at the moment

    Aussie Player Exodus

So the same as the Honey Badger

    Waratahs 2015

I see him as a perfect marque unit, under appreciated at home, but helped the Tahs develop part of their game that was lacking while becoming a cult hero for the fans. The ARU would be crazy to not provide the dispensation Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

    Waratahs 2015

I didn't think there was an argument to start with, it was a "look where they are now post" No regret from me to see a good unit do well in rugby or the nrl

    Waratahs 2015

I don't know, they poach plenty from the lessor schools with scholarships, so it ends up like a elite development pathway. The other real pathway is just as elite within the selective sports high schools

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Yeah, but there have been a change. Will Pocock be as effective as that out and out fetcher under previous interpretations? I really doubt it, because none his current contemporaries are as effective either The true fetcher is just no longer as effective.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

I think that just isn't possible by anyone under the current ruck rules, no one is doing it When Pocock, McCaw & Smith were at their turnover best they didn't have to release; that change means there is more time for the cleanout. Now it is the second in who is more likely to get a poach...

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Interestingly Hooper was in Foxsport's team of the week

    Highlanders v Waratahs - R5, 2015

Cheika said in the press conference after the last game that he was highly unlikely and they would take it easy on him, him being old and such ;)

    Reds 2015

I don't believe the 10 needs "call it" really the same move can have 4 different outcomes, but every unit needs to be in motion and ready to be the "one" It was the same last year, every back just seemed to be waiting for a Quade cut out. But go back into full Link world and there was Digby...

    Reds 2015

Just quietly which Red's back were providing any options for Frisby to hit?. Who was running an inside line? Who was providing an angle running? Who was in motion off the ball?
