    Team versus Cheetahs

Looks like Juan Smith may not make it. With him and Brussow out, the Cheetahs have well and truly lost their mojo. Good opportunity to give everyone a run. If the fringe players can't pull a game like this through, they don't deserve contracts.

    Force v Bulls. Perthfontein.

Watching this game as a Bulls man was like eating glass. If a few final passes stuck early one we would have been up by 20 plus. On top of that Steyn had a mare with the boot. Force defended well, but even though they retained the ball well, the rarely really threaten for extensive phases...

    Cheetahs v Reds. Bloem.

Just aw the score only now and thought wtf, were the Cheetahs that bad or the Reds that good? Than I read that Juan Smith didn't play, the assistant coach started at lock, and the fitness trainer was on the bench. Without Brussow and Juan Smith the Cheetahs are a walkover. Happy for the Reds...

    Brumbies v Chiefs. Canberra.

At one point he was next to Alexander in defense and they both rushed out of the line. Alexander was quicker :o

    Brumbies v Chiefs. Canberra.

Brumbies should have put them away. They just aren't playing intelligent rugby like we're use to. They had a gazillion overlaps for 20 minutes and kept the ball in the forwards. Jus not realising potential and maybe it's a leadership issue? Seems like nobody was making calls when they needed...

    Wallaby 6,7,8

Brown has never made the kind of impact Hodgon has. But he is as yet unproven atg test level. I say play Pocock, Hodgson and Move Rocky to 8.

Re: Tin Ears vs Reds Wel they are hardly wrong, are they? Reds have bene shite on the road. With Braid out I tip the Cheetahs.

    Waratahs v Blues. Sydney.

Ah there's only one blue you know that. I want the Waratahs to win, and well, but I have a bad feeling. The Blues backline is starting to look awesome and I think they will win. Their forwards haven't been great, but good enough.

    Cheetahs v Reds. Bloem.

I seem to recall Boman missed the most tackles of any player in last year's S14.

    Waratahs v Blues. Sydney.

Benson Stanley at 12 has been excellent. Very quick on his feet.

    Force v Bulls. Perthfontein.

If the Force win the stadium and lack of altitude will have nothing to do with it. Travel will and the Force might be more enthusiastic.

    2010 S14 Half way summary

Reason I think we will drop the Reds game is becuase the Reds will go hard against the Bulls because of that 90 point pasting a few years back. They seem to grow an extra testicle when they play the Bulls, like last year. By that time the Bulls will be tired having had two on the trot accross...

    Cheetahs v Reds. Bloem.

Re: Tin Ears vs Reds Oh fark me sorry it's in Bloemfontein, home of the OS. In that case the Cheetahs have a good chance. Team actually doesn't look half bad.

    2010 S14 Half way summary

Bulls defense will get better, and already has against the Hurricanes. It won them the match. I would love to believe in the Stormers. I just hope Grant stays fit. De Waal chnaged the way the Stormers played last weekend and I cannot see them win the comp with him at 10. I'd put money on it...

    Waratahs v Blues. Sydney.

Re: Tahs v Blues Too right mark_s. My worry is though that Hickey is so conservative that he might still beleive that playing a tight game and strangling the Blues is the way to eek out a win. Against a team like the Blues that will be suicide becuase it means kicking at their back three. The...

    Cheetahs v Reds. Bloem.

Re: Tin Ears vs Reds The Reds will snot them. They have excellent attack and will match up in the set piece. Without Brussow (and his backup also looks crock), Braid will be a menace. Reds by 20+ The Cheetahs were up for it in Cape Town. A week later with jetlag and in Brisbane? No sir.

    Waratahs v Blues. Sydney.

Re: Tahs v Blues Hints: Catch. Pass. Run straight. Don't kick with an overlap. Don't throw daft passes. That sort of thing. ::) PS I think this is going to be a cracker. Tahs can't farque around and have to score points.
