Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

It seems to be the way he selects his team for the Tahs, without injury or suspension the 24 - 31 units hold the tackle bags

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I like him, but would you think he is the option to replace Folau in the semi final of the RWC? Perhaps not Wider training squad & November tour is my guess

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

If we use the Tahs as a scrummaging model for the Wobs (which has a certain logic to it), Cheika/Mario Ledesma's continual focus has been on scrummaging square, working hard as an 8 and not giving away penalties. So less bullshit games, more work. I don't see Alexander being 1st or 2nd...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Yeah my good memories of JOC (James O'Connor) was him on kick return nearly always beating that first defender (same as Beale actually) both have lost that edge. Both are fringe options at best as a result. Typos by SwiftKey, errors in tone by me

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Cheika doesn't seem to rest players for games. He seems to manage them through reducing training load. There were stories from last year of Tahs units sitting out most of the week to freshen up Typos by SwiftKey, errors in tone by me

    Waratahs 2015

Yeah Highlander/Hurricanes final seems most likely, they are playing the most positive and consistent rugby An interesting question re Cheika's "style" of coaching....... Does his passionate approach have a diminishing return after a while? This year they have looked effective against...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

too early for him, his defensive decisions and work rate off the ball is still below par

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Carter needs to smash more units at cleanout and in the tackle. He does a lot of work, but needs be more angry ie physically dominate/impose himself in the tackle and ruck area because he doesn't do it ball in hand

    Waratahs 2016

One of Cheika's biggest weaknesses is his lack of using his full squad (worth noting for the RWC as well, some of the dirt trackers are only going to be holding tackling bags) At some stage these units need to be blooded, just look at the Kiwi and Bok sides and the way they rotate and trust...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

True, but I am a big fan of having one of the wings to play the role of wing/2nd 15 with the other being a strike unit. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is our current wing/2nd 15 option, JOC (James O'Connor) and Mitchell are both lessor options, but options (JOC (James O'Connor) on form not really an option at all) We need a unit that can work with...

It depends if you want workrate or X factor

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

Yep, I was chased by a kids mum once, the big heifer wasn't pleased with the way I dealt with her son. She chased me half way across the field

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I like him and rate him, but I am unsure whether he is RWC ready, November tests & wide training squad? maybe

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

His wing/15 coverage adds to his appeal in a squad situation

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

He is another "myth" unit who apparently does nothing visible all game. o_O

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Worth adding to that he is probably our second best available form 15 as well.

    Lions v Waratahs - Round 16, 30 May 2015

We need to see how Roach performs as a starter and Porecki is no slouch either. Roach's mobility will be a bonus against the Lions as well

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

mate it was a facetious* comment to highlight the reality that some times we don't really know what was the trigger * facetious adjective treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humour; flippant.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I would be uncomfortable with either starting, but a 30 minute shift at the back end of the game? Sure
