Cubelli is a huge loss. Prior was a monumental step down.

    Rugby Championship 2021

    Mine is way better.

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Absolutely. Im entirely on board getting both involved. Skelton's success in Europe speaks for itself.

Hes' improved but apparently he averages just less than 1 line-out take per game. So it's not like he's a primary option.

Presumably ongoing financial support from RA. They wouldn't just move players willy nilly anyway. For one, the player would have to be willing.

    Wallabies 2021

I guess because their players will inevitably want to represent Australia and take RA money. Not sure what the lure of the WA academy will be without that at the end of the tunnel.

If you've got Swinton at 6 and Samu coming on at 8 at the same time as Skelton off the bench you are covered and you have some excellent impact. Not sure Swinton has 80 minutes in him though.

Swinton is obviously our long term solution at 6 in my view. He's been shoved down the queue to get his tackling technique in order. Once that's done he's exactly what we need there. Busy, abrasive and excellent in the lineout.

LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)'s current issue seems to be workrate. 2/3 games he looks hungover. Then you get the 1/3 where he really puts in and you can see why he keeps getting caps. That, his carrying technique is still a bit shite and he's fairly ill-disciplined. Also, I think we are definitely heading towards a...

Yeah his bad games are still good ones.

Hey man - if we kicked blokes out for writing shit I'd have been gone years ago. Part of the joy of forums. Talking absolute shit with randoms who are all probably blind most of the time.

Robertson started as a tight head and was shifted to suit the team. He's now been asked to move back. Same with Kepu I think. Ideally, they could all just specialise. Useful have a bloke who can play the other side in a pinch though.

Personally, i'd take Robertson over Sio and Pone at the moment. I don't think we'll see Pone this year.

Yeah Petaia is fine. It's like Tupou. We just expect to see more from them than we do from anyone else - because we know how good they are.

Did he actually throw one that went to ground? I can't remember. I only remember three of his carries. First, successful offload post contact to his outside man. Second, he did very well near the line from a cross field kick (i think?) and got very harshly pinged for crawling. Final one was a...

Apparently they are completely different techniques and it is actually quite difficult to be able to switch between the two (particularly at a test match level).

    Rugby Championship 2021

Bored so here's my crack at a combined RC team to take on (and utterly humiliate) a Lions team. 1. Nche 2. Mbonambi 3. Tupou 4. Etzebeth 5. Retallick 6. Ioane (fell off badly against South Africa but was the stand out 6 after four weeks) 7. Hooper (C) 8. Vermeulen 9. Smith (yeah i know he only...

Tupou's worst game in a while. I love that he has a short passing game but he just needs to stick his head down and use those tree trunk legs to gain a couple of post contact metres more often. He was pretty fortunate they didn't take a closer look at the no arm hit as well.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

But of a stretch even for the purists.

It's a good point. I think MK is a rare exception to this general rule. He's such a strange player (in a good way).
