The success of League players in Rugby Union

All 100% Capped and playing for Fiji. The Glasgwegians love them. Matawalu (2nd pic, halfback/fullback) started it in the 12/13 season, and the other 2, Leone Nakarawa (3rd pic, Lock/No. 8) and Jerry Yanuyanutawa (1st pic, Loosehead prop) only made the Fijian love go up this season. More...

They can take our lives, but you'll never take OUR FIJIANS! :p

Rebels v Reds, 27 June @ AAMI Park

Woodie on the wing is a weird one, but good to see Jack D get a start. Will one of D and Hegarty take over the kicking duties, or given Harris is coming down next year, Woody retains it?

South Africa vs Scotland ,Port Elizabeth, 28th June

Yeah we're fucked. Starting with the fact that it's outside the window, so only those playing for the Glasgow and the Edinbokke can play. Then you add on a tour that's gone all over. Then you add some nice old injuries to the back row, and the centres. Finally, all of the Commonwealth games...

I thought we were Canada, NSW was the US, and Queensland was Mexico, because you're heading towards the equator, and the stereotypes fit the states better.

    Armitage brothers playing for France.

It worked best when they both had fuller beards.

Got it. So we're morally against Henry Speight playing for Australia.

Sometimes I'm more than happy for the status quo. While its not perfect, it's pretty reasonable. Then I look at guys like Salesi Ma'afu. He'll never play for Australia again, but he's in really good form for Northampton. Fiji and to a lesser extent Tonga, really need props to be playing at...

    Brumbies 2014

NH teams don't want it. That's 6 to 3 already. Assuming the Pacific Nations, and other European nations agree due to the locations of their players, that's a buttload. For now the Argies probably prefer it as well, although that may change when/if they get a Super team. So, yeah. I'm not going...

Why did I have Pulver in my head. He's a halfback, he's from NSW...

    Wallabies v France 3rd Test - 21 June Sydney

In the RC you have to go for Kepu and Alexander as the incumbents, but Weeks or another tighthead need to get a few more caps before the WC, in case of injury. There's what, two RCs and the November internationals before the warm up tests? Not a long time.

    Rebels 2015

We signed the Aussie U20 Fullback Angus Pulver a week or so ago, didn't we?

    Rebels 2015

Crawford, Harris and the like will probably still be contracted to the other super sides for the sake of the NRC. Not sure about Pulver.

    Waratahs 2014

Why would playing for a crap side like Randwick get you a game at the Tahs. :P

    Northern Hemisphere Rugby Season 14/15

Glasgow Trio Adam Ashe (20, Back row), Tyrone Holmes (28 Openside Flanker) and Euan Murray (33, Tighthead Prop) join the Scotland squad in South Africa for their Final Game, Gordon Reid (27, loosehead prop) goes home, joining the remaining non Glasgow and Edinburgh players...

Wilko to play in the NRC?

If its limited to one per team, and receives no Union funding towards it, I see no reason why not.

    Northern Hemisphere Rugby Season 14/15

Georgia and Romania could easily pull one offs against Scotland and Italy, but if you think they got smashed by the other 4, well, you wouldn't be surprised if it was even worse.
