Petaia seems like a good young prospect, but I would also agree that the RC is too soon for him............. And not because of his age, but because he’s not good enough yet and there are better performing players ahead of him.

He's available to play for the Wallabies pretty much immediately (or as soon as the international window opens), but won't join the Rebels until midway through the Soup next year on a 2 1/2 year deal.

I'm not so sure about that.......... during the English series our lineout functioned significantly better in the test that he didn't play. As I said, happy for him to be on the bench, but overall he doesn't offer as much as the other three options going forward, and his set piece prowess has...

Arnold was the Australian leader for lineout takes in Super Rugby this year............ Coleman was the Australian leader for lineout steals. It also shouldn't be forgotten that the Wallabies lineout has struggled when Simmons has been there (and when he hasn't), so while I don't disagree...
