I would look at the defence coach first.........

He would probably be a good addition to a Super Rugby squad, or the Force......... But he's lacking in speed and the line bending ability that our current options possess. He might be a better defender in the 13 channel than Hodge or Kerevi, but those are some Tom Carter levels of credentials.

I just don't know at his age, with his diminished skills, who he's going to push out of the current Wallabies squad? Good on him if he wants to try, but he's able to turn back the clock a few years I don't think his selection would be an improvement.

Tune was a very good player (over a short period), but Roff is first choice outside back for me........... Burke's all round game edges out Latham, who didn't really hit his straps until his last few seasons........... And then I'd have to go Folau on the other wing as the best of the rest.

If I had to choose a side based on the two above (with a couple of additions)......... None of our props really stand out for me, so I've probably gone for the nostalgia of the glory years.

Tuqiri definitely ended up being the better of the 3........ but I’d be tempted to put AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on that wing. Also, agreed that Burke or Latham > Folau.
