G&GR Reds Player of the Match (v Lions)

I thought about giving Cooper some points for his defensive improvment but it is somthing he should of done some time back. I remember him putting Sykes on his bumb last week which was good. Hopfully the confidence he is building in his attack will help improve on defence and this part of his...

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

Schiftcoftski was a great convert. It is a shame he didn't make the switch earlier. Chambers has a bright futre in the code. Territory boy too, which means I like him even more. Not many good union players come from up this way. Justin Harrison is the only other one that springs to mind.

    Crusaders v Waratahs. Christchurch.

Try or no try should be the only question.

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

Make rom for AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). Put Hynes on the wing for Davies. Forget Mitchell, he is nothing more that a glorified speed bump. Slot AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) in and you have a potent attacking backline which is also solid in defense, full of combination that is currently on fire.

G&GR Reds Player of the Match (v Lions)

Saw and loved it. 3/ A. Fainga'a 2/ Hynes 1/ Davies Chambers is settling in well also. If he had lowered his body height, he would of made it over the try line.

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

Sadly the golden boys Barnes and Gitau will get first crack. Fainga'a deserves it. Forget Barnes, he offers nothing of interest, but the prospect of an illusive player like Gitau feeding off of the quallity ball that Cooper is distributing is moistening. You could do worse than just inserting...

    Lions Vs Reds. Bloem.

It wasn't pretty in places but they got the job done and got the bonus goat. The shabbyness in places does not concern me as I think this one was about collecting the win, the bonus point and trying to conserve energy for the horror turn around to come home and face the Bulls. Bonus point after...

    Crusaders v Waratahs. Christchurch.

Good dig by the Tahs and well done for that. In reality, they threw everything including the kitchen sink at the Saders and it wasn't enough. This tells me that they can't win the comp. I'm not a Phil Waugh fan but his game was nothing short of sensational.

    Palu gone for the season

I think Rocky has potential to be a good Wallaby 8. Not good news about Palu though.

    Eddie Jones Wallaby XV

Eddie said in the article that he named that team in that pocock hadn't adapted well to the breakdown laws. Stupid comment seeing he had only played one game this year. At least he was able to say somthing constructive without letting that stupid little mans syndrome of his get in the way. Until...

    Quade - the BBQ Entertainer

Who is the fitness bloke with the Side Show Bob hair doo, that was at the Brumbies? I would say the value of his recruitment is hugely underestimated.

    Lions Vs Reds. Bloem.

Paarl I would much like to hear your thoughts on why the lions havn't been so successful. How does it relate to how rugby works in SA. Are they they the poor cousin of other teams and have trouble keeping players? cheers

    x 2 Ash. I feel the same.

    Quade - the BBQ Entertainer

Thats what I would say. You can narrow Quade down to the last 4 months though. Given his off field issues, he could of gone the other way. I like the way he has matured and take my hat off to him and all those involved.

    8 point tries?

William Webb is now turning over in his grave!!!!!!!!!!! some bastard might run with the ball instead of kicking the shit of it. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

TOCC Quade or the Reds in General?

    Crusaders v Waratahs. Christchurch.

Crusaders by 10. Even when things don't quite look right with them, it is hard to ignore their previous achievments.

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

Get him into the Bundy tests and lets find out if he has the goods before the 3n. I would think that logic would say that an out of form player is only going to be more exposed at test level, though the world works in strange ways. The same argument used against Fainga'a could be used for Cooper...

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

No doubt. I more talking of the run on 15. I should of said so in my post. In the absence of the A program, I haope they use the extended squad to develop as much talent as possible. cheers

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

To cover Coopers defense, you could give Barnes the flick for Fainga'a. It is working now and it would keep combination together. Somthing tells me that Robbie has copped a lot over the last two years, building the nucleus of his side. I wouldn't be supprised to see not many changes at all.
