That presumes they could have kept Hanson, you would think that if they could, they would have

Or Phipps Foley Guildford Horne Folau Robinson/Kellaway Beale With Beale playing that 2nd playmaker role from 15 having both wings with the 15 "gene" may be of value, especially with Horne usually defending at 12 anyway

    Waratahs 2016

Yeah, I think we will be battling the Rebels for second in our group, the Ponies should make the semis if they can get past their kick, clap and maul inclinations and play some rugby; and the rebels are a team on the up if they can sort out the 12/13

And we simply don't know how many times previously that he has done just that

Thanks, it is interesting to see many players need time to get their core fitness and skills up to super standard under pressure (like Kellaway) Link said somewhere it can take near two years in a program to get there physically Anywho, I think the Tahs are in for a lean year :(

I try not to go on wishin and hopin, no evidence so far in his carreer, I don't know of any Blues fans that were devastated by him leaving It was more polite than saying his workrate isn't good enough @8 he has hands like feet, fine as a Super Rugby lock, but a test 8, no, no, no Big...

Really? 1/ A prop width a dubious scrummaging history in Auckland OK ........................ 2/ Only if he sheds a lot of weight 3/ A unit to play where? He ain't a test lock and he ain't a test back rower 4/ We have a test coach wanting a play maker 10/12 at 12, so not there, 13? "If"...

Players are always playing injured, it isn't like the coaches were unaware that he was playing wounded. 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful thing, but in reality you take the punt

    The new Wallaby jersey

In the "olden days" striped socks were only worn by test players, non test players (the dirt trackers) only wore gold tops until they earned a test

That will be cheap very soon "Waratahs Rugby, together with official merchandise partner, Canterbury, are proud to announce a special edition jersey for fans in 2016 with a unique ‘Playing for NSW since 1874’ design on the front." The marketing department went all out for that one

    Waratahs 2016

I have always rated Guildford, he is a bloody good player (a type of winger Aus does not have, that high work rate winger who will chase hard, run lines and work hard to get back and supporter the receiver all match) who has absolutely wasted his many opportunities. Hopefully he can get his...

    Richie Mccaw retires

Simply a wonderful player whose talent was clearly demonstrated by the 100's of page on here complaining about his dirty, cheating ways And even worse, he seems like a good bloke as well

Evolution at Green and Gold Rugby - PLEASE READ

I just want a few hours of sunshine on a weekend so I can get to the beach; screw Aus cricket, it is a sport taken over by chippy dwarves in oakley sunnies with anger issues

    The League Media

I actually think the NRL is becoming more like touch football, game plan wise (we used to call RL, Tongan touch football) fast play the balls and direct running until you get in the red zone

    Waratahs 2016

So are the Tahs planning to announce their actual full squad in the near future? You would think they would actually know who they have signed by now and have them in pre season fitness training Or is it some stupid marketing/PR clown's job to create an "event" that no one has communicated

    The Wallabies Thread

That is one way, the ABs don't use it though, they use teamwork, great skills across the board and workrate. Sure their set piece is effective, but to me that is a given of a decent side A big linebender often means in the Aus context, if you stop them, you stop the go forward. To me, the...
