    Melbourne Rising 2014

My thoughts were that Ben may have been the sole retained halfback, given both Burgo and Nic would automatically command a starting position at wherever they ended up, whereas it wasn't so certain for Ben. Either way, good start, the players who look to be playing NRC, and were in both the...

Oh, that's right. Can't believe I missed that. I didn't even bother looking TBH, thought it would almost be a given :p

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

The fact that Mitch Inman played against the Bulls is pretty disgraceful.

    Melbourne Rising 2014

Not a lot of surprises there TBH. Was always 50/50 on Burgo and Stirzaker. The Beef and Laurie playing in NSW. Anyone else missing? EDIT: On the club POV, no Dale Stevenson, Chris Slade or Dan Squire.

    Rebels 2015

Just going off the week by week Team lists. :p And while I can't. Say anything about Kamana, Sefa has definitely played like a third winger in the couple Broncos games I've got to see this year.

    Rebels 2015

Move to the Tahs is probably appropriate. I think we've filled all our spots for next season. Whereas the Tahs only really have AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Horne as OC options. If two dads heads overseas after the world cup, they'll need another option, as at least depth, and Lalakai is a good option. Besides...

Force would probably get better depth from their club comp, and a similar allocation of Wallabies and Super Players. While the Rays squad looks pretty impressive, it might be even more so when their soup allocations are announced.

    Melbourne Rising 2014

Update on Players from the Rebels, useful to know. Ellison, Sau and Shota have all gone to Japan, won't play in the NRC. Hegarty, Fuglistaller, Reid and Colby will miss ALL the NRC. Sexton is about a month away, may or not make it for the first game, but should definitely play. Kingston...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

He's 2 & a 1/2 years older, plus he's starting 2 years later. When Folau started, he was 23, Hunt will be 28 by the time he plays in a Soup game. That's quite significant.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Out of Curiosity, what's the Wallabies scheduling outside the World Cup look like next season? Obviously there's no June Internationals, but do we have a full double round robin Rugby Championship? Is it a 3 Test Bledisloe, or just the 2? And how many Warm up Tests will they end up playing...

    Melbourne Rising 2014

Out of curiosity, for someone who has pretty low knowledge of the Dewar Sheild, who wouldn't be selected of the media boys.

    Melbourne Rising 2014

The Rebs said outright that they wouldn't Relocate anyone for the NRC, and at the time, it made sense. The only unaligned player we had signed was Steve Cummins, who'd signed a Currie Cup contract. Given that Jonah was moving down to Melbourne in about 3 months anyway, I'd be slightly...

    Melbourne Rising 2014

I'd assume that for the Purposes of the NRC, Harris would be aligned with one the Queensland sides, given he was a Reds player in 2014. Otherwise I'd have expected guys like Jonah Placid to be down here playing, and not counting towards the Super Players limit.
