I agree with much that you raise. I believe that the ARU would best serve our interests by making a decision based upon knowing all the facts first. It's one thing to decide on a course of action because you believe the advantages outweigh the negatives.Its another thing to make these decision...

Why the desperate need to have a 3T for 2014? The ARU cannot afford to fuck this up. Do the research,workshops etc that takes time,so that we get something that will add to the Rugby landscape,and not be detrimental to the game.

The only way IMO you stop having Super clubs competing with "have nots" is not to have Super clubs. Unless 3T teams are amalgamations,the 3T will destroy the foundations upon which it is built.

Two things wrong with that. 1,if you run the 3rd tier in the same time frame as the Super comp,there is no point to it. 2. If you allow T3 players to play in the SS, these clubs will destroy the "have nots" and kill the SS. If the Super clubs are not amalgamations,then it will mean the end of...

If the NRL is the dream,then good on them. But taking the cash from League,and taking the kudos and the trip/s from Rugby,should be mutually exclusive. Good luck to them with their future in League,but Schoolboy Rugby tours should be about developing future Rugby players.

Interesting. My recollection was that Tep was dominated in the first half,and had a heap of counter opportunities in the second,with varied success. It's funny how we see the same thing and come away with quite different perspectives of the same event.
