Is that ironic or hypocritical? Your last 3 post on this thread have all been negative. Play the ball not the man. Try and stay on the topic.

I wouldn't rave about how either of them are playing. It seems to me,most of the comments, both positive and negative, are in correlation with each poster's super club allegiances.

My impression was that, they were not having crack at the players. More like putting the win in perspective. Yep we did score 50,but the score flattered us,and comparing that game with the other games played on the weekend, was like comparing Reggie's with 1st grade. If we play with the same...

Pretty sure if he was not such a character, there would be much less love for him on this forum.

It might work, but not to the same degree. Man for man our backs dominated the other mob physically. They really struggled putting our guys on the mat one on one.We Just won't see that against the better sides.

Nothing changed as a result of that forum. Foley continued with exactly the same style for the entirety of the following season. And despite a very poor record, the board re appointed him. The change only occurred because Foley preferred the security of a 3 year deal with the Force. It was good...

Ouch! Cruel but fair. He shouldn't take all the blame Bruce. He does report to a board that allowed the franchise to flounder year after year. Is he still there?

If Link determines the best way to manage punters expectations,is to hold himself above them. He will be judged by his results. You sure he wants that to happen ATM? I would just like him to explain why he picks a forward pack to play a conservative game plan, but does not select the 9 & 10 best...

Might it not be,that a simple exercise in logic,is a radical rethink?

    Any lawyers here?

You don't need a lot of bias to find fault in a squad with a 25% win rate. I have been puzzled by the relatively good run Ewen has received over the past 2 years. Reading the press, you would assume the Reds have improved their performance steadily over the past few years,in regard to both...

Because he keeps picking the same players, who continue to play in the sane woeful fashion. He is making Robbie Deans look like a fucking guru.

He is only addressing the refs perception of the scrum. It's just a coincidence that this weeks scrum is tipped to be the toughest the Wallabies will face on this tour. Not. Before Link starts shit canning the ref for piss poor performance. He should start with his tight 5, have a blow then...

    Any lawyers here?

Two things 1) it's a bit early to be reviewing termination clauses in his contract. 2) they didn't get reamed by terminating Robbie early. All that happened is they basically employed Link 2 or so months earlier than scheduled.so they "doubled up" on coaching costs for this period.

    Long Term Combinations

On that basis, once you have picked your first XV, they are there until injured or retired. You think that's a long term winning philosophy?

    Long Term Combinations

Genia is a good example. On form, he should be in a combination with me,on the lounge,in Sydney, taking turns doing beer runs. What's the message to the squad, when players are woeful, yet continue to be selected? It's about setting standards.you can't fudge that.

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

Hang on,he has signed till the end of this season. They had the opportunity to sign him for 2,3 or 5 years if they wanted to. It will be no surprise to them that he is looking to secure his future for next year and beyond. Some of you people are like the guy who dumps his girlfriend, and gets...

He is comparing the loosies with the other impostors, because you specifically lay the blame with the loosies. He was trying to demonstrate that you are blaming the wrong piggies.

Australia Vs. England, Twickenham, 2nd November 2013

Call me a cynic, but I think it has more to do with arresting the fucking atrocious win/loss ratio of the new coach than budgetary considerations. Any coach of worth would not tolerate interference from HO about selections to save on match payments.

I thought this tour was always considered a development tour. Guys like Carter,Pyle,Neville,Jones etc. should be on the tour, to see if they can cope with the higher level. He should be starting Foley this week,we all know what QC (Quade Cooper) can and can't do at this level, but we need to see more of Foley...
