Springboks 2010 End Of Year Tour

Dropping like flies. JP Pietersen also out of tour with hamstring injury. Now Habana will definitely tour...

Springboks 2010 End Of Year Tour

It has nothing to do with his scrummaging ability. I said they are above him in the pecking order, not necessarily that they are better. He should have been second in line behind Guthro. There are more than him better than Beast but that is irrelevant because they are all lilly white.

Wian has been capped. http://www.sarugby.co.za/springbokprofile.aspx?id=21316&surname=du%20Preez%&birthday=1982/10/30%2012:00:00%20AM&comname=Wian%20du%20Preez He will be another Shaun Sowerby. Good enough to play for his adopted home, but can't because of a few minutes in a Bok jersey. He...

    2010 SA Currie Cup Competition

I wish. I am too old to be buff. Now I just work to avoid anything hanging. I end up going to St L Fitness First if I am in the area. It can't be a coincidence that every time I go the coffee shop right next door always has some prominent ARU figures hanging around and they must have little...

    2010 SA Currie Cup Competition

Well done WP. (Bloody goats, fokkit.) ;) Lee I continue to be amazed ho Oz is able to compete so well at international level with such a thin base in many ways. While there are the many issues you mention the reality is that the system delivers great players. Problem is that there are...

Wynand Olivier out for the season. Groin op. No doubt Adi Jacobs will tour after 20 minutes of rugby in the last four months.... (he's fat and bald so someone can keep Januarie company at the buffet with J Smit not on tour.) Doppies La Grange is the guy who should be the next cab off the...

Springboks 2010 End Of Year Tour

Lee: I pick Ireland to beat us again. They grow an extra leg when they play us. The back row battle will play a huge role and I hope we pick the right combo (which is Schakl/Smit/Vermeulen for those conditions.) The Boks are very unsettled and there is a lot of tension which will come to...

It doesn't count. They never talk about it.

Springboks 2010 End Of Year Tour

The Irish have had the wood over us in Ireland of late. No denying that. We have struggled in the last three games over there (2004, 2006, 2009). One of course with a little help from the ref but let's not go there again. It has nothing to do with the cold. It's all about the total global...

Springboks 2010 End Of Year Tour

Absolutely Lee but at least one Bok will get some rest... The upside is that Juan de Jongh gets game time and we build some depth. But Fourie is a beast and they fear him up North. He does turn Irish backs into the proverbial speedbump...ask O'GoneOverYa

And now that haven't even got Louw in the squad. All because the Boks played a shit plan, got their arse kicked at the breakdown, and someone had to take the blame. If ever a player fot a raw deal then it's him.

I would love to see at 8 Vermeulen first. I think both of us are going to be disappointed. PdV is going to panic and play Spies/Juan/Schalk.

Hard to tell. He has been out injured. He got penalised a lot in the Super 14 and copped a couple of yellow cards. In fact he was relegated to the bench late in the season. I was nervous about it during the S14 finals but he seemed to sort himself out.

Currie Cup Semis on Fux Sports Tonight

It will be Januarie. Duvenhage will sign with a European club some time soon. He is too good and someone is going to throw some cash his way.

Someone buy the guy in the jumpsuit a beer. The problem at national level is the idiot with the dead rat on his upper lip. I'll leave you guess who he is. "Kick it Morne. It worked last year." End of coaching session.

Agree re APlon Paarl. I clean forgot about him. What a moron. He is in excellent form. No Matfield. Use him sparingly. There are enough good jumpers in the lineout to win our own ball. I have vd Merwe on the bench and Matfield. Mistake - replace vd Merwe with another back like Kirchner.

Sounds like The Stormers won't release their players for the training camp. No surprise. They can't expect the Stormers and Sharks players to sit around cuddling each other when in a week's time they will be beating the shit out of each other. More great Springbok planning.

He has been the best loosehead in the comp for my money. Very strong scrummager and very mobile for a big unit. I think he is a better scrummager than Beast which is why I would choose him. http://www.zimbio.com/Coenie+Oosthuizen PS Paarl would suggest Wikus Blaauw is the go but he is...
