Memo to JON and your "event manager"

Na, all cool Blue. If logic was to set in we may end up losing that public holiday in June for the lady who was born in April. ;)

    Wallabies v All Blacks Melbourne

A bit like the Irish test. Your boys had the luxury to take the foot off the pedal and it was much deserved. A lot of talk about Genia not being so good but congrats for being the first to really do a number on him. Call me crazy but I am going to tip the Wallabies nex weekend.

God save the Queen is still the most inspiring anthem. Lets not forget it used to be our anthem. You will find alot of older Australians sing it with more passion than our current one.

    Wallabies team for next week?

Interesting Reg. Robbie may look to go ouside the square and use Rocky at 13. He likes that wider game. It is easy to crap on the thought but what have we to lose? It would provide that straightening crashballer and a back of size. Hodgson into blindside and Higgers to the bench or Higgers...

Memo to JON and your "event manager"

Not Anthems but some good crowd songs would be the Seekers We are Australian" and Peter Alan's "I still call Australia home". Both songs generate a great sense of national pride.

    Wallabies v All Blacks Melbourne

Agreed. Link put the control element into it. Mooney would make a great skills coach for the Wallabies.

NZ were smarter in how they handled the surface is also a big thing. They used their passing game to alter the direction of attack to great effect. We used indidual footwork to no effect as how many times did O'Connor slip on the surface trying to step. This killed opportunity for us.

Memo to JON and your "event manager"

Forget the Anthems. JON an his event manager should of been more concerned with the playing surface provided. They new this ground had issues well before the event. In reality, the employer provided the employee unsafe working conditions. In any other industry this would not be tolerated...

    Elsom's Captaincy

I agree with what you are saying WJ but part of the problem has been making Elsom a protected species within the system. There are other players that offer what Rocky does and may just have an edge over him in the attitude department. Higgenbotham is very similar and that he is untried may...

    LOCKED: Time to Sack Deans?

Bullshit, the players are responible for the players. The coach is responsible for the tactics. They looked fine until the players lost it.

    LOCKED: Time to Sack Deans?

Happy to defend Deans. Happier to blame players for the crap dished up on the field. Even happier not to bitch and moan without sighting an alternative. I still think Deans is a great coach. He is just not a good babysitter.

Smart thinking Daz. I like your style.

    LOCKED: Time to Sack Deans?

I agree with that Cyc. Robbie picked a team that got the job done last week. They didn't this week and there are a few positions where we have scope for change. Hodsgon for Brown with Higgers to the bench to begin blooding process. Mitchell gone and Shephered to the wing. Fainga'a remains a...

    Wallabies v All Blacks Melbourne

Nope on Mitchell. Soft or not the first card. He knew damm well clear he was on thin ice from that point on and still couldn't behave. He deserves to be dumped completely.

    Green & Gold Rugby's 3-2-1 best Wallabies v All Blacks. Melbourne 31.07.2010

3/ Pocock 2/ S. Fainga'a 1/ Simmons Only voting because Pocock deserved his three. Fainga'a is young and a bit small but fuck he has some heart. That is somthing we need in droves. I hope Simmons starts next week replacing Mumm.

They all jumped on the band wagon when James Horwill pointed it out. Not one of the picked up on it when it happened. Bloody fools.

Points to Pocock but I don't care if my vote don't count as I can't give them in good conscience at the moment.

    Elsom's Captaincy

Sack the Bastard. Pocock and Genia to form the captaincy group (who is vice I don't care). Higgers to be blooded on the spring tour and Rocky left at home for a break.
