    Mitchell Out Of World Cup?

When's Horne due back? Is he going to get enough game time between now and then to warrant Bled/3N selection? Otherwise, for mine: 9. Genia 10. Cooper 11. Ioane 12. Barnes 13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 14. JOC (James O'Connor) 15. Beale

Who would be Wallaby captain for RWC if Rocky isn't fit?

If a mod wants to add him, that would be good. I can't figure out how to. I did think about him, but considering he is not even Tah's VC and isn't really a gauranteed starter I discounted him.

Canes v Reds at the Cake Tin - 2011R11

Will Conrad Smith be back in? I didn't watch all of the game on the weekend, but Nonu played better than I have seen him play all year. Still expect the Red's to take it either way.

Who would be Wallaby captain for RWC if Rocky isn't fit?

I don't really think Stirling will even be in the squad, and doubt Giteau will make the run on team, but wanted to include them to give people a choice. Last time we had a lock captain us to the WC it went pretty well.

Who would be Wallaby captain for RWC if Rocky isn't fit?

Following on from the Wallaby announcement thread, and the article Blue posted stating that Rocky may not play a game of Super Rugby this year, if Rocky didn't, could he be fit in time to play the Bledisloe and 3N? And secondly, if he wasn't fit, who would you want to see captain the...

Western Force vs Crusaders @ NIB Stadium - 2011R11

According to the article I posted yesterday in the Force 2011 thread, Pocock is pretty certain, Hodgson likely and Inman maybe.

Media alert: Australian rugby union to announce major decision on the future of rugby

With the phrasing "a major announcement on Wednesday morning regarding the future of Rugby in Australia", it would want to be something momentus, like a national comp. If it's just a coaching contract extension or a sponsor it will be the lead balloon Bruce predicted. Just to add to the mix...

    Force V Bulls - 2011R10

The total sum of your contributions is usually to waltz into the thread after the game and slag off the opposition supporters. Do you have any thought's on the actual rugby being played? Or do you just like to attack the other teams fans? There was one particular thread where a few Force fans...

    Mitchell Out Of World Cup?

Compare his line breaking to Quade or JOC (James O'Connor), and he looks Stodgy. But that doesn't make him invaluable to the Wallabies.

    Mitchell Out Of World Cup?

Giteau has his strengths, but with the dynamic younger guys coming through, he now looks stodgy. He needs to be in the WC squad, but not in a starting position. Use his experience off the bench as long as he doesn't revert to crabbing and shutting down the play.

The Ongoing Tragedy of the Waratahs

In WA there aren't twenty hopefuls, there are 5. Makes it easier for the cream to rise to the top.

Halangahu - Carter - Cross: Worst NSW Midfield Ever?

Kingston in the centres isn't a bad idea. That youthful enthusiasm has worked for a few teams. Sopoanga for the Highlanders was good before he was injured, Patrick Lambie is a superstar, JOC (James O'Connor) at the Force, to a lesser extent Elton Janties. I know three of those four play 10, but having an...

    Mitchell Out Of World Cup?

I'd happily give up all my easter eggs for a fit Schmoo in 8 weeks time.

The Ongoing Tragedy of the Waratahs

There have been a few mentions of the way the Force (and other teams to a lesser extent) have stolen away promising young players from the Tahs academy and NSW club teams. It almost seems that one of the Force's on field weaknesses is one of their off field strengths. A young new south...

    Force V Bulls - 2011R10

Don't get too bent out of shape over Blue Toddo, that's his standard Modus Operandi. He comes into threads, accuses the opposition of being whingers and takes his pretend moral highground. It grows old but you learn to ignore it.

Unless thing's have changed, he was out orignally for 8 weeks.

    Western Force 2011

Hasn't time moved on since this thread was last posted in, 2 wins in a row and Rabbit looking like jumping ship (mangled metaphors). On Paddy Dellit's form last night at 13, I would leave Inman on the bench even when he comes back. Let's develop Dellit instead with an eye to the future...

    Reds vs Waratahs, 2011R10

How long did the Tahs sign Cross for? Any danger he won't head North for the money next year, because god knows he will never wear a wallaby jumper again.
