Sounds good to me Blue. (And you don't need to take QWADEs as I (may) do.)

daz, delighted to have you and Gagger so quickly on the defensive. I suspect the Radicals (with their non loosey-goosey measurable performance criteria) vs the Fanboys ('we'll be proven right in 201X (fill in the X later on as needed)' soft underbellies) vs the Gonads ('we might feel differently...

Big tick to all sentiments above! I'll be at Suncorp, willing, hoping, waiting, yelling, you know the scene.

++ don't forget mate, the next phase of assessment in the war of the Radicals vs Fanboys vs Gonads (see School naming posts ;-) )

    Wallabies v All Blacks Melbourne

Yes Lee, you could see the turf really getting way too easily chopped up and loose in the last England Test there, and the place has been dry for days prior.

And good on 'em too. I was very impressed by Smit's TV interview on that Rugby Club. The negatives of the suspensions etc have been highlighted but there's much to like about SA rugby.

...and increasingly for Fox Sports every time one is handed to JP and Canno....

Matfield announces that any SA player incurring a yellow this Saturday will pay up to the team...serious stuff: http://www.sport24.co.za/Rugby/TriNations/Yellow-carded-Boks-to-pay-up-20100722 I think it's not commented on enough just how much these yellows at just those key times cost the Boks...

That stadium defines the problem, it screams the problem. Seriously, IMO its continued use for rugby Tests is a real danger to rugby in NSW. The ARU would in almost all cases be better to: charge just a bit more for mid to premium tkts to games at SFS (using SFS for all but genuine blockbuster...

Re Etihad. _Any_ stadia that can comfortably hold cricket and AFL matches (such as Eithad) will usually generate poor to very poor rugby atmosphere and somewhat less likelihood that team love from the fans can add big rocket fuel to the Men of Gold.

Suncorp Stadium: Why Is It So?

Don't worry HB. You can tell by his posts that Reddy! is frightened of no man (or woman).

Frankly HG, as a number of us have said before, bar Nick Mc and Kaf's quite good analysis, the whole show is a debacle on wheels and a shocking display most times for the good of our code overall.

    Wallabies v All Blacks Melbourne

If the ARU understood anything they'd come to realise that the 'intimacy' of the right stadium for Test rugby mattered more for the paying fans coming back again and the chances of Wallaby success than the desperate urge to sell another 5000 seats! It's happy fans and a winning team over time...

Yes, BH, but we best be sure those panellists are reasonably consistent across the board. I have heard our coaches issue some quite ridiculous examples of muddled management speak, inconsistent assessments, and confusing PC statements re players etc, and it's quite rare that the Rugby Club gets...

The core issue of course is that SA Rugby provided Smit for an extensive interview on the very same show. This is how the media works as Barbarian says, like it or not. You don't get access and interviews like that and then dump big time very personally on the coach of that captain. Also, these...

It's remarkable though is it not that it wasn't JP who got there first. He usually cannot contain himself.
