Typically they name 38 (2 teams of 15, with 8 bench for the 2's). The bench for the 1st XV come from the 2nd XV game. NSW Schools name 2 squads of 23 for National Championships because the 2's can't bench for the 1's.

^^^^CHS have a 2nd XV for a very long time. Nothing new this year. CCC 2nd XV may not be as competitive as AAGPS 2nd XV, or CAS 2nd XV, but they would most likely perform better than AICES, and be a suitable replacement for NSW Country Schools.
