Vickerman to play with Northampton ASAP

Brumbies held an open training session last night and it looked like Bernie still has it. He is a striked me as very hands on and he had his backline hanging off every word when he was putting them through drills. I think the Brumbies backs under him will be dangerous this year. On top of...

    Reds 2011

Can do Reg. I will write the article and take a few picks at the game and get you to help me get it posted. :thumb I am having trouble getting answers out of the QRU as to whether the Reds will have a traing run up here that I can go and check out, do you know anything? cheers.

more players than ever in 2010

Great post Lee. Other than players, are there more volunteers giving there time to the game. Parents of juniors that want to take a more active role in their local club and join commitees, dads who take on coaching a mini/mod side, people who offer to run the water on game day or offer to run...

No Anthony Fainga'a. Anyone know the story? Can't wait for Friday night. :)

Vickerman to play with Northampton ASAP

I don't disagree with that at all. Hopefully all the Aussie teams have limited injuries and the Tahs will be in good enough shape not to need him. Without the game time, I just don't see the value in him for the Wallabies. Even if he does not take the field, he will be of huge value to the...

Vickerman to play with Northampton ASAP

Vickerman is good or was a good player in his day. The whole signing of him by the ARU is a joke. By the time he is ready to play for the Tahs one would hope they had a very settled pair of locks that at are fucnctioning well. With the lock stocks available we have Vickermans attributes...

He has a full pre season under his belt this year and his workrate when he started against the Canes last year was impressive.

Whats better than a physical pack? A physical and mobile pack. For a big unit it is amazing how mobile the Reds pack is also. Does anybody know how ticket sales are going for the Cairns game? This probably belongs in the Brumbies thread but tickets for the Darwin game are moving quickly...

    S15 Trials

I didn't notice that the Highlanders picked up Colin Slade. That is a wise buy.

Reg, my money would be on Ben Lucas or Morohan. I think there maybe somthing to Lucas starting there in the final game last year. He will still be the backup 9 but he won't ride the pine as much as last year.

    Wallabies Middle age meltdown?

The rise of Peter Hynes disproves this article. Ben Alexander also. Players selected for their first cap at middle age in rugby terms. Anybody who can not see the Rise of Pocock was a great piece of succession planning is blind. George Smith being the fine team man he is would of made his...

So Qude will be required to defend but Link also treasures the option of using him out back in counter attack and may also be aiming to preserve his playmakers energy levels. As long as Quade does do some defending at 10 to improve that aspect of his game, I see no problem with that.

Let me in Hornet Man. Pending approval. Cheers for getting it going.

The Ones to watch in 2011

Agree with Lee, Cooper in defence. Morty will be the one to watch. A new challange and a healthy body will see the big fella back to his destructive best. Ben Lucas will get more game time and I have him as one to watch.

Which oz players will retire or play overseas after rwc 2011

I think that is what Bullrush was trying to say.

Something on parity with apprentice wages would be fair. Effectivly that is what they are.

The back three is going to be very interesting this year in regards to selections. Lots of players to step up.

Does anybody know if the Reds will be returning to Brisbane in between Cairns and Darwin? I would really love to get out and see them train while they are in Darwin.
