I think it has more to do with socio economics than race. Most indigenous kids grow up in areas where League or AFL are strong. Kids play organised sports with their mates,if all their mates are playing marbles,then that's what they'll do as well.

The other problem with the SFS has,is members/corporates allocations. In a crowd of 40,000 there are only 18,000 paying customers.
