Why would he be on safari,if he intends to prioritise the Wicks over the School during the season?

    Shute Shield 2014

Fucking wingers, the only reason they score any tries,is because they are marked by other wingers! Rule of thumb, big winger, small heart. He certainly fits the stereotype!

Bit harsh on the temporary coach. All the faithful all seem to be if the view, that your guys can't play in the wet, period. Seems you should be bagging the guy on safari, not his temp replacement

    Shute Shield 2014

Normally he rolls the bench out,it was a much tighter game than the scoreboard reflected.i think the Rats were behind with less than 10 to go? The first XV are entitled to game time as well!

    Waratah Cup/ Shield 2014

I reckon Knox will be there again this year, and will at least make it to the Final,if their supporters are anywhere near the mark in their assessment of the team

There are plenty of them... Earning big bucks in Europe.

I caught up with an old mate for a few beers on the weekend, and when it should have been bedtime,he started to reminisce about his School days. He reckoned those years as a boarder at Joeys were the best ten years of his life.....

    Sydney Colts - 2014

Maybe I shouldn't have commented on what I didn't personally witness, but what was reported is consistent with what I have seen in the past 3 years. If there is a new regime out there with new standards, then that's great for the club and the comp. It is a welcome and long overdue change,long...

Just the normal Eastern Suburbs bullshit Big Arse. Apparently their neighbours from Woollahra are selling chicken satay rolls, and wagyu beef burgers. The most palatable things on the menu are still good old fries,or meat pie in a plastic bag according to my travelling gourmet critic.

That's only fair, given he probably has a bigger budget!

Forget about the judiciary, it needs to be sorted from within. Four or five yellows in 2's,and at least 2 yellows & a red in 1's is a disgrace, that reflects poorly on everyone associated with it. If you can't field 2 teams with guys who will play in the correct spirit. Then don't field two...

    Force v Tahs, round 9 2014

No he didn't have a point. If he wants to argue with or harangue match officials, play another code.

    Sydney Colts - 2014

There needs to be zero tolerance. How many Penrith Colts games went the distance last year? Poor player behaviour from this club needs to be addressed,it is simply not good enough to continue to appoint 2nd grade colts refs for these games. More experienced refs, that set a standard early,is what...

No more resets. Scrum collapses, short arm to the side feeding the scrum. Unless the ref deems it deliberate,in which case full arm.

    Force v Tahs, round 9 2014

The best measure of a team,is not how good they are when they "are on". It's how good they are, when they are not playing well,or things conspire against them. Good teams win ugly, and win games they shouldn't. I'm not seeing that yet from the Tahs. More work is needed to get "to the next level"
  16. I like to watch

    Waratahs 2014

I'm not sure. To my eye,the Force were just hanging in all night. It seemed just a matter of when the Tahs would set the scoreboard rolling. The intercept try was a game changer.not only was it a 14 point result,it was a momentum shifter. But when push came to shove, the Tahs were a bit petulant...

I thought the 1's coach was Brad Gill? I agree that the results speak for themselves, but not in the way you meant. Assembling a side so heavy with rock stars that a state rep cannot make the School side, and you can't win the comp outright? Fail. If you can't coach an elite player to pass both...

    CAS Rugby 2014

The commute from Manly to Barker would be a minimum of an hour & a half each way,if connections worked perfectly. Getting there outside of the School bus service that leaves from Balgowlah or Narrabeen would be impractical on public transport.

    Shute Shield 2014

Manly are a good team to follow, they leave a trail of destruction behind them. Rats might be getting flattered by meeting softened up opponents each week.
  20. I like to watch

    Force v Tahs, round 9 2014

If the Rebels beat the Force by 10 or more, last place in the conference is the Reds! If the Force win, they will be conference leaders! Who would ever predict that might be the case 1/2 way through the season!!!
