Round 5: Rebels v Waratahs, Friday the 24th of March AAMI Park @7:40

Foley being back was the big difference, direction, calmness under pressure, plays square, takes on the line and bends his back to tackle

    Waratahs 2017

I do wonder what players actually do those "extras" to get their personal skill set to a reasonable standard. How many hours a week is Phipps working on his pass How many hours a week is Folau working on his kicking from hand. Hookers working on their lineout throwing How many players are...

Shit, the Tahs have lineout options

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Mate, we can't continue the way it is going, all the teams a bleeding and losing. Whatever happens will be painful, but it is clear that what we have now is not working. We expanded too quickly

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think a winning side would change those issues

    Where to for Super Rugby?

So is the ARU being able to afford the current set up or finding enough players of standard to fill all the current teams.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Nah, it would make a stronger long term "Brumbies" in an area where corporate support and crowds are viable

    Where to for Super Rugby?

My two cents Rebels "merged", Brumbies move to Melbourne Some sort of national contracting of all unsigned players (eventually all players), this would make the ARU the "employer" so an actual draft could be initiated to try to spread the little wealth we have. I also like the NZ "25"...

Round 5: Rebels v Waratahs, Friday the 24th of March AAMI Park @7:40

The Tahs will be more coherent with Foley at 10, but without the pigs being more accurate and aggressive whoever is at 9 is going to have a torrid time. The forwards aren't showing any balance a the moment. Do we know if Kepu is OK? That really could change this match

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

Last year it was, this year it was a clear red. And one Cooper was likely to get at some stage, he had enough issues with the previous interpretations (Skelton is another accident waiting to happen)

Round 4: Waratahs v Brumbies- Saturday 18 March 7:45pm AEDT, Allianz Stadium, Sydney

Yeah, I think they are working towards play like the Jake Gordon try. Letting the ball do the work and moving to the space. That is all very Kiwi like and it is quite possible that in training it runs smooth, but they are struggling to execute under proper pressure

    Waratahs 2017

Disagree, they were always going to be inconsistent this season, the kiddies in the forwards are showing not enough angry and Hegarty can't get the ball moving

Round 4: Waratahs v Brumbies- Saturday 18 March 7:45pm AEDT, Allianz Stadium, Sydney

I don't like how they are executing, but their intent usually is fine. I dislike the kick, maul, walky walky scrum approach to rugby. It bores me to tears Tonight they chose to do it averagely too often. We miss Foley real bad, the backs have looked crap all season Sent from my Nexus 9...
