Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

I actually think Perese is more likely to start than Vunivalu, surely?

Kellaway out is a problem. Wright to the wing and Perese/Vuni to the bench I guess.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Scrums are the cricket equivalent of drink breaks - maybe throw in a little tape and a massage for those knots that just won't go away

Kellaway didn't really come into the team much until after Cheika had left. He played plenty but he was young and a little undeveloped. The concern remains why Aussies are going to Europe to realise their potential rather than kicking on here

As if that shit isn't rocket fuel to just hit the pommy pricks harder? I always thought that kind of behaviour ends up being counter-productive.

Jock Campbell and Tane Edmed also played and lost to Samoa and neither looked any better than Hodge. Tane has, as far as i am aware, never played a professional game at 15.

    Refereeing decisions

I read that as meaning the automatic mid-range suspension doesn't apply to hair pulling (i.e. hair pulling must involve head contact because that's where most hair is and so that element of the offence has already been considered in deciding it warrants 2 weeks at minimum). However, I am...

    Refereeing decisions

So 9.27 says that a player must not pull hair with the low end sanction being two weeks. Does this mean it was a red card offence? https://www.world.rugby/organisation/governance/regulations/reg-17/appendix-1 @Pfitzy

    Samoa vs Australia A

Simone is certainly better but he's unfortunately gone and it's hard to blame him, getting discarded after being fed to the ABs. Kuenzle though? nah.

Was it just me or did Matt Philip look huge compared to the England locks?

    Wallabies 2023

Not sold on JOC (James O'Connor) to be honest. He can cover the bench but hopefully we won't end up in a position where he is sole playmaker/kicker. Also with Lightblue on KB (Kurtley Beale).

They have 48 hours right? So still time.

I dont see why England would continue to play expansively when they are so much more effective playing tight. I'd also ditch Smith and move Farrell in. Up and unders all day.

Yep fuck this shit off. Just beat the Poms who we haven't done in since 2015. If you can't celebrate that you need to move on.
